potent Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Love Not Loving You is such a bop she really served this year even just with those random singles (except Woman) My Own Dance is fine, OK Not to Be OK basic but I like it a lot for some reason Yeah I get what Alanis was going for on that album, but there just weren't enough interesting songs for me
geodancefreak Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 911 And Don't Say Goodbye is such a good bop!

K$Ellie Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I was gonna drag for including Alma but I see you're dragging her yourself My Own Dance absolutely horrible 911 is listenable unlike a good amount of the album Love Not Loving You is a cute enough song, not one of her best but I hope she delivers with the album
Sunderland 4ever Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I had no idea Alanis had released a new album. Same with Foxes. Last album I heard was Glorious.
ikiru Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 alma's album was terrible I have the same opinion about 911, fell in love with the song after the music video got released! don't say goodbye is cute
Staryu Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 911 and Love Not Loving You I really like the new 911 weiss remix
Remmy Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 December Baby could've been stronger, but yeah Wishlist & December Baby are definitely the 2 best tracks. It feels a little empty with 5/13 songs being so short. || OK Not to Be OK is fine, only listened to it twice or thrice honestly My Own Dance 911 + Love Not Loving You Yup yup
TheWayWeWere Posted December 12, 2020 Author Posted December 12, 2020 I'm sorry for late update, but I was drunk bitch last night TOP 50 ALBUMS 38 Mandy Moore | Silver Landings "Every wrong turn was the right direction" This album was major surprise for me. As someone who never really goes into her music (Wild Hope still manages to sit in my library for many years tho), I genuinely fell in with her. I love her soft voice, and pop/country/folk elements on this record works in favor for her, songwriting is so honest and beautiful. Second part of album kinda fall apart in comparison with the first one, but I still think her comeback was so underrated. highlights: Fifteen, When I Wasn’t Watching, Save A Little For Yourself, Easy Target 37 Camila Cabello | Romance "When I said I hope you're happy, didn't mean it" Okay, drag me I know girl is pretty much hated on here, but I she does make some good pop songs time to time. I really liked her debut, but with Romance it feels like this has no direction. Like, there's some very good classic pop songs, while she also puts some urban pop messiness. Album art is all over the place. I don't even wanna talk about album rollout. But the main problem with album is that all the best songs were released as singles before its release. Like, there's no real reason to return to this album after couple of listens. highlights: Living Proof, Easy, Should've Said It, Cry for Me 36 The Killers | Imploding The Mirage "I was taken by the sound of a spirit in need" I didn't liked their music in like..forever, so it was pure joy, when I listened this album first time. Amazing blend of their classic sound with 80s inspired rock/funk ifluences with euphoric choruses made me 11 y.o. stan once again. highlights: Dying Breed, Lightning Fields, My God, My Own Soul’s Warning TOP 100 SINGLES 76 Rita Ora | How To Be Lonely "I must be the only feeling like losing you will show me how to be lonely" I really love fashion mogul Rita's bops, but this one even tho it's cute and catchy goes nowhere? Even expensive video looks like bunch of random scenes with no direction at all. I hope she pulls through and returns with another pop perfection like Phoenix. 75 Kesha | Tonight "Now we're looking for some trouble like we huntin' for treasure" This is such an odd love from me to Kesha song It's kinda messy and all over the place, but I don't know, I understand why most of her stans loved this song so much - there's some nostalgic Tik Tok vibes and catchiness all over it. It aged badly through the year tho 74 Paloma Faith | Gold "I've found something to believe in" Being the only song from album with no-songwriting credit from Paloma probably was one of the reasons why it wasn't the first single. Epic, full of joy, happiness and pride jam gave you such a warm feeling during listening. And it was written by Sigrid herself! I need a full-collab between queens now tbh 73 RAYE | Natalie Don't "Can't you see my sorrow?" Raye always seemed to me as artist I should like, but she never hits me at all. But ****, I randomly listened this song during summer and fell in love with it immediately. Tongue-in-cheek lyrics, perfectly crafted pop production and addictive hook. Entire Euphoric Sad Songs is amazing. I really hope she sticks around with that quality. 72 Katy Perry | Daisies "Why did we put all our hopes in a box in the attic?" I'm kind of sucker for acoustic guitar-inspired pop, so I actually liked this one. It's bright and atmospheric, but kinda lacks of building and big moment. Still, very likeable and cute way to restart the era. 71 Tove Lo | Bikini **** "All I do is drink champagne all day" The best droplet from Finneas this year was released not by his sister, but by Tove, lol. Fun, quirky and sexy. Tove dancing around messy way with bunch of bikinis or without bikinis in lo-fi video. Great way to extend album era. thanks to all of you, as always Spoiler On 12/11/2020 at 9:50 AM, Legend E said: henny what is this, pedestal is one of the best songs of the year 911 cute, such pretty legends in the road FLAWLESS I don't know ha On 12/11/2020 at 9:39 AM, Lazuli said: 911 'dont circumcise my circumstance' lives rent free in my mind wait, I kinda forgot about that iconic line On 12/11/2020 at 7:00 AM, Green said: I liked "Such Pretty Forks In the Road".
