TOP 50 ALBUMS

U73k7RD.png

41    JoJo | December Baby
"No one should feel so alone when it's Christmas"
This is how christmas albums should've been done! Nostalgic, warmy christmas feelings along with fresh r&b/trap influence on classic covers, along with amazing new songs. One of my favorite xmas records in years.
highlights: Wishlist, December Baby, Silent Night

CubHlvq.png

40    ALMA | Have U Seen Her?
"I don't really care what you think of me"
It still kinda bothers me that such a great pop-songwriter (I mean, all her other artists songs are great) and maker of Heavy Rules Mixtape is the same girl who released this kind of mess :rip: Yeah, there's few bops out there, but like.. half of album is just unbearable :rip: And album roll-out...was messy at hell :rip:
highlights: Worst Behaviour, King of the Castle, Stay All Night

JFFevhl.png

39    Alanis Morissette | Such Pretty Forks In the Road
"This metamorphosis closed the door and opened a window"
Such a promising start to an era with Reasons and Smiling on a board, but in the end album feels half-assed. Very strong first part and then very bland ending. Her songwriting scills still slays, I love more mature sound on this album. And it's still probably her best record since URS/SCC, but yeah, I think after loving her music for years, I expected something better.
highlights: Ablaze, Reasons I Drink, Losing the Plot, Reckoning

TOP 100 SINGLES

TgekNca.png

82    Alicia Keys, Khalid | So Done
"I lost control of all of my energy"
This is one of the collab you would never know you need in your life :skull: Their voices blends together in such an honey for years. Mellow production just puts in you in a trance. One of my favorite moments from album.

uw3tGe0.png

81    Lady Gaga | 911
"I keep my dolls inside diamond boxes"
This is probably my least favorite Chromatica song from the first listen. But the ****, how this amazing music video elevates this song to a next level. I literally look at this song differently since video release.

Kolsu8t.png

80    Marshmello, Demi Lovato | OK Not to Be OK
"Don't get lost in the moment"
Welp, I'm basic bitch, but I loved this. This along with 'Still Have Me' were the only Demi droplets from this year, that I actually liked. It's super catchy, carefree song with nice message. And I love her soft voice on it.

wTjGEUO.png

79    Kesha | My Own Dance
"The funny thing is I'm ****ing everything"
This one I didn't like at first, but it's so ****ing addictive :rip: It somehow manages to stay in my head for few months. Strange noisy bop with classic Ke$ha twist on it.

q8by32J.png

78    Foxes | Love Not Loving You
"Sad songs bring me back to life"
I'm so ****ing happy she finally returns. And this is probably my favorite out of her new singles.

xw00Wdz.png

77    Tove Lo, Alok & Ilkay Sencan | Don't Say Goodbye
"I hate to love the way you keep me burning"
This is one of her best, if not the best, dance collabs. Major banger in every way possible.

LOVE to everyone, idoru:gaycat1:

I purposefully ignored xmas albums as they were too close to when I made my final list but this would have definitely made it! Did you listen to Tori's as well?

And I also listen to albums as i'm writing reviews :fan:

alma just needs to suck it up and have charli write all her ****.

typical of a *** but 911 and foxes are my fave on the songs set.

i never really got into alanis's post-jlp career but i feel like it deserves an honest chance.  it can't be as bad as tori amos's 00s output, can it?
