Get up on the floor" I need to be clear, I really worried that my queen Kylie gonna get overboard and would make this album campy gay mess like Your Disco Needs You. But hell, she proves me wrong. This is one of the strongers pop records of the year. Basically almost every track is a standout on its own, its very Kylie-esque, but there so many 70's disco inspirations around, that it never feels like rehash or something. highlights: Miss a Thing, Celebrate You, Real Groove, I Love It, Last Chance 21 Ariana Grande | positions "Middle finger to my thumb and then I snap it" On her sixth record Ariana tones down a bit, there's no big pop Max Martin-production bops, there not many '7 rings' a like bangers, instead she offers us her most cohesive and r&b project to date. I still don't get how overhated this album was, yeah, it wasn't standout love for me too, but once it grew on me, I can appreciate top-notch production, mellow melodies, tongue-in-cheek lyricism, ol'-school references, some of her best vocal performances and etc. highlights: my hair, pov, obvious, love language, just like magic TOP 100 SINGLES 44 Doja Cat, Gucci Mane | Like That "You know I hate it when I'm left on read" This was my immediate love from album. Amazingly catchy, groovy and infectious, once again she does such a great transitions between rap and singing parts. 43 Dua Lipa | Levitating/Levitating (Madonna Remix) "My love is like a rocket, watch it blast-off, and I'm feeling so electric, dance my ass off" Original is ****ing classic. It sounds like disco pop at its best. Once you heard it, your ass can't stop dancing to the beat. And I think I was among minority who actually liked Madonna remix I'll pretend DaBoy remix is not exist tho 42 Alicia Keys | Underdog "The only dream that I've been chasing is my own" I love guitar driven pop songs, so I fell in love with it fast. It's a bit too basic, cliche and Sheerany (he literally written this), but it's incredibly catchy and the message is great. 41 Alicia Keys | Perfect Way to Die "Baby, don't you close your eyes, this could be our final time and you know I'm horrible at saying goodbye" After handful of listen I can say that this is among her top songs ever. Touching, heartbreakin and moving. Written from mother's side of grief it can be used by almost everyone who lost someone he loved. And this was probably the best song used during protests. 40 Jhené Aiko | P*$$Y Fairy (OTW) "You don't need no me-time that's you and me time" P*$$y on the way... it's not the first time Jhene provides us with sensual sex anthem, but this is probably one of her bests. Seductive and sexy, overpowered and hypnotizing. One of the album's highlights. Well I wish Disco was higher BUT I am very glad you gave Celebrate You a shoutout. Don't care for the Madonna remix of Levitating, but the original or the DaBaby version (which is fine honestly lol) are so ****ing good and I'm glad they got the single treatment. I finally listened to that Pu$$y Fairy song, it's really good! Apparently it hit the Billboard year end hot 100 which... did it even chart?
