We already know that the top 5 will be:

1. Drake

2. Taylor Swift

3. Bruno Mars

4. Rihanna

5. Adele

Can't wait for Drake to be properly honored and celebrated.

Meanwhile, Billboard has revealed the other artist decade-end charts.

Taylor clearly dominated most of the 2010s over Drake

The Billboard decade lists are always compiled weirdly

Check the top electronic artists list. But yeah she’s above them in the overall chart, I wonder how it works, do they only count her albums that are considered electronic/edm for that chart?:ryan2:

It doesn't include Joanne + ASIB, they aren't electronic/dance

She was more successful than him in the first half of the decade but his dominance in the second half of the decade was massive. He's also the #1 Billboard 200 and Hot 100 artist of the decade.

Seems like they want to make a big deal of it at the 2021 BBMAs and properly honor the Artist of the Decade. It's a huge achievement so it really isn't that surprising.

I hope Billboard writes an article listing all his stats and achievements on their charts.

Not really. Drake has had multiple back to back smash hits every year of the 2010s. Not to mention massive albums.

Drake:

Thank Me Later - 93 weeks

Take Care - 404 weeks

Nothing Was The Same - 355 weeks

If You're Reading This It's Too Late - 197 weeks
What A Time To Be Alive - 96 weeks

Views - 239 weeks

More Life - 190 weeks

Scorpion - 126 weeks

Dark Lane Demo Tapes - 30 weeks

Drake was clearly much bigger on Billboard. Taylor was bigger in tours and pure sales though.

OT: Rihanna missing the Top 3 because of a 4 year hiatus :deadbanana4:

Less than a year. A few months.

They should have done this at the 2020 Awards  :rip:

Most acts wouldn't have showed up because of COVID. By the 2021 BBMAs, the distribution of vaccines will make a lot more acts more comfortable to attend. Also, a lot more acts will be nominated for stuff at next year's show so there'll be more incentive for people to attend.
