I'm happy its mostly females and wow at Gladys. I was surprised to not see Whitney since her Hot 100 run was on par with her peers even better.

Whitney 1) split her numbers over 2 years for most album campaigns, and 2) was in constant competition with Madonna/ Janet/MJ/Paula Abdul/George Michael, and then Mariah/Boyz II Men/Toni in the 90s.

 

She was probably Top 3 for the first 9 years of her music career.
