No one can write spooky pop like our 5head Allie. Her music always paints a picture for me and this one is grey and suburban. I mean that in the best way possible.

Completely agree with your Katy and Taylor write ups (you're wrong for wanting to scrap My Tears Ricochet though). Not a huge fan of Rare at all.

This song is so refreshing. Plus, I'm a sucker for a raspy voice. Navvy is one to watch. Give her a chance!

Another underrated artist. This song feels like it's belongs to a movie soundtrack; it's just so grand and sad and relatable.

A major improvement from Witness. Deserved better than it got. I'm not sure why people take Katy so seriously. Sure, it doesn't deserve a Grammy but there's nothing wrong with catchy, slightly generic pop music. I appreciate that Katy still has a passion to be a MPG.

This puts a Smile on my face. Small Talk isn't really that bad tbh its just cheesy.

That lyric is cringe but Ring the way she sings it kinda is a serve. And yes Dance Again is among my fave too

On first listen, I thought folklore was my AOTY. The more I listened however, the more I realized the amount of tracks bring down the quality of the album. She could've easily moved 5 tracks to a deluxe version and scrapped my tears ricochet and this would probably move up a few spots in my ranking. But, this is the streaming era so... Songwriting is 10/10 ofc.

My most played song of 2020. A self empowerment bop that doesn't sound annoying and Hallmark-ish. It seems to be a popular opinion that Ariana overshadowed Gaga here but I find the opposite. Gaga's commanding RAIN. ON. ME. bit gets me everytime. Best female collab of 2020. Yas Gaga.

Albums~ I know everything on this list so far, whew  T.T.O., Smile & Rare have some highlights in there. folklore  VELVET yesss, Adam is way too underappreciated. Cape God  Our standout picks are pretty different for nearly all of these!

Songs~ Never Be Me Definitely a highlight from PH, even though it didn't start out that way at first. Small Things is cute. Rain On Me yup yup

Smile aged awfully   and that title song along with visuals ruining that 'era'  I just can't @ how all over this place this album was

Rare was disappointment for me, especially after amazing run of droplets and Revival
