Mark Rih Posted December 20, 2020 Author Posted December 20, 2020 TOP 50 SONGS: #10 - #1 10. Miley Cyrus - Midnight Sky miley cyrus finds the sound that ATRL wanted her to chase for years; another case of trendhopping done right 9. The Weeknd - In Your Eyes more disco-synth pop candy, the second half of the chorus is one of the catchiest things I've heard this year, and the sax solo ended careers. Doja's remix was really good too 8. Dua Lipa - Break Your Heart start of the Duamination hihi, BMH is such a classy bop and the use of the sample was really smart 7. Dua Lipa - Hallucinate a banger, it brings me back to COADF with a touch of french house, SG Lewis hid MIND! 6. Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now see when you release an instant classic it will chart in my top 10 for 2 years in a row. So proud of this song and everything it achieved, posting the Live In LA version here because it was such a moment and it made clear that Dua was above the other girls, I gave it like 50 spins over the year 5. Doja Cat - Say So Doja TABS, Dr. Luke TABS, a perfect mix of pop, rap and disco, I don't know a better song. Doja needs another pop jam asap 4. Dua Lipa - Levitating (feat. DaBaby) During first listen I immediately knew that Levitating was THAT song. The perfect disco banger, love the Daft Punk vibes, deserves everything and more. Posting LeBaby because it's all I've been playing since it came out, TBM remix can't relate (even tho it wasn't bad imo) TOP 3 The top 3 this year is made up of three songs that I'll probably never get tired of, never had such a strong trinity in my previous countdowns. They represent the music I'm into so well and I truly feel they were tailor made for my taste, so let me give a proper shoutout to this 3 CLASSICS that are on track to become some of my most played songs ever 3. SG Lewis - Chemicals this song is such a VIBE to me I cannot explain it, that bassline+synths always take me to another dimention. SG was definitely my fave discover of the year, I literally ate up everything he's been releasing lately, to say I'm excited for his album is an understatement 2. Dua Lipa - Physical the collapse of all collapses, a literal eargasm, an anthem for generations: Physical is all of these and more, without a doubt the musical event of the year for me. It's also the perfect song for driving, and considering how much I love driving and how it's my favorite situation to listen to music, it's easy to understand why I'm still so obsessed with this song. Dua Lipa IS the music industry 1. The Weeknd - Blinding Lights we all saw this coming didn't we? The moment I heard BL I already knew it was about to become one of my most played songs ever, and I was right. The synthwave energy, the highway at night atmosphere, the 80s revival magic, and all with my fave male voice out there? Yep, I was immediately sold. I wasn't expecting it to blew up the way it did but what can I say, talent ****ing won - - - - - Recap: 1. The Weeknd - Blinding Lights 2. Dua Lipa - Physical 3. SG Lewis - Chemicals 4. Pretty Please SO underrated. Also I hated that Astrid album but DDD is actually one of two tracks I can tolerate. Save Your Tears so good. Yeah I'm glad The 1975 aren't getting any year end acclaim this year they don't deserve it, but I also love that after their super acclaimed era (that album was great too) they're having this middle-of-the-road release. Kinda fun. Anyway, Too Shy is a BOP and yep easily the best thing on that album. It has a few great tracks (If You're Too Shy, Guys, The Birthday Song, Me & U) but also a lot of unnecessary noise. 19 hours ago, Kevin2803 said: Reveal hidden contents 11. J. MS, SS, BL, Physical, BMH, Levitating All collapses, I fear Hallucinate the only one I would remove from the top 10 Perchedt for the album ranking
Remmy Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Not quite a fan of #3 (mainly because of the vocal production) and Say So is just alright but the rest, whew! Nearly all of Dua's 2020 releases making it here The slayage is deserved though! Ahhh you started and ended this top 10 so well, those are my 4 favorites here BL #1, absolutely!!! Really solid list overall
TheWayWeWere Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Midnight Sky deserved to be #1 hit everywhere omg, finally some love for In Your Eyes not all Dua singles making top 10 QUEEN Physical > DSN > Levitation > Hallucinate > BMH Say So in top 5

Albums list coming before xmas, top positions are easily predictable but there will be some surprises Oh wow this is really great list. The fact that most of the tracks are on my most played track on my library this year. Kinda scream that Dua dominated the top 10 though Some girls hate to see it. Also i think this is the first time that i see Breaking Me into ATRL list. I know this song because i always see this on UK itunes chart all the time ddd Overall, this is proof that ATRL myth about straight men don't have taste in music is wrong. Except for my brother
Bubble Tea Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Oh SNAP! "Say So" is so good. Dr R**e is a disgusting mess but... bops. I've ben guilty of using his beats. Hate the man, not the art I say.
Ewan Chaos Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I keep forgetting that SG Lewis had a hand in Hallucinate nnn. Yeah Don't Start Now, especially December when that live version came out, really REALLY paved the way in showing that Dua was COMING this year to end us bitches. The live version is so ****ing good. Physical being your top pick And Blinding Lights at #1, only the most successful (and one of the best) hits of the year could do THAT!
Lazuli Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 not all of dua's singles being in the top 10 what can i say tho, she deserves it i guess. but levitating and dsn >>>>> everything else blinding lights #1, no surprises there
K$Ellie Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 the #1, I'm in shock deserved tho, I don't stan it but I can see why people do the Dua back to back domination nnn, all those songs deserved to be higher than Physifad very gay top 10 and then there's that Chemicals song Say So massive bop as well, hope her next album is as good
Mr. Loco Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 The Weeknd dominating hard this year!! !! Glad both his songs reached top ten Say so & Levitating also gave us some amazing 80s inspired disco bops Loved your best of! Several of your songs also didi great on mine
Green Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Oh wow the top 10 is full of excellence Perfect top 2 Dua and The Weeknd slaying with multiple songs and Midnight Sky making the top 10 too
