Faith and You Should Be Sad are alright.

Posted

My Oasis is cute, lowkey a grower. You should be sad  I've seen that in a lot of updates today. The new Easy remix already making it here :clap3: Love both versions, might still prefer the original for now. Prisoner + Maniac  Faith didn't grab my attention at first but I love love love the way it goes into Blinding Lights.

34. 220KID, GRACEY - Don't Need Love

me and @Thickorita had to stan for this UK smasha. GRACEY released several cute lil bops this year, check her out

literally perfect dance chart fodder, glad it smashed :smitten:

love almost every other song on the list too, team taste :clap3:

The Bones + you should be sad

Posted

Easy was good but the remix made it much better  :clap3:

Prisoner was a perfect collaboration for Miley/Dua.

you should be sad deserved better. The best single she released from her album after Without Me

Posted

Prisoner :D that song is great! and you should be sad <3

Posted

Haven't listened to that new version of Easy, maybe I should now :eli:

Conan's album wasn't that great yeah but Maniac absolutely is :katie2:

The Bones > I Hope but like neither are very good  idk why all the country crossovers are so mediocre lately, alternative deserves it more

My Oasis is cute!

Posted

the collapse already :jonny5: easy remix, dakiti, YSBS, faith, maniac, natalie, prisoner

listening to the petit biscuit song and it's great

TOP 50 SONGS: #30-21

30. Paul Woolford, Diplo & Kareen Lomax - Looking For Me

chill house perfection

29. Dua Lipa & Angele - Fever

a tove lo-esque bop, la fièvre dans mes yeux, oui, ça se voit >

28. Calvin Harris, The Weeknd - Over Now

a let down? yes. a flop? yes. still a bop? of course Calvin was so stupid for coming back with such a slow song tho

27. Roosevelt - Feels Right

I just love this guy so much, giving me all the indie synthpop vibes I need. Got into him thanks to @Tom Vercetti during one of his YE countdowns

26. Regard, Raye - Secrets

more chill house perfection

25. Ariana Grande - positions

r&b/pop done right, one of her best singles and clearly the best track on the album, it would've been higher on this list if released earlier

24. Dua Lipa - Cool

such a breezy bop, with Cool Dua showed us she can pull the 80s sound too. However, this ISN'T the best album track on FN hihi

23. SG Lewis, Robyn, Channel Tres - Impact

what a banger, this song really brought the club vibes we've been missing for almost a year now

22. twenty one pilots - Level of Concern

I'm still kinda shocked at them pulling the disco sound so well, now this is how you trend hop. This was song of the quarantine for me!

21. Victoria Monet - Experience

surprise! another disco bop to end this update hihi. Imagine if Ariana released this, a big smash was wasted me thinks

youre the first to choose the easy remix! prob cause you started later than most of us tho so you got that advantage.  i still prefer the original but its not really a stark difference.

prisoner is alright, i mean its a good song.  fever was the better dua collab to me, but im happy for miley her album was overall pleasant.

that's why Fever is higher than Prisoner on this list

I mean I feel like part of Drake's brand since like 2015 is "cool goofy" so I guess that thumbnail is on brand for him, but still...

Prisoner, Faith, and Easy are my top picks here! I actually gave that Easy remix a spin yesterday and it's really good! Although it's not TOO different from the original. Good video too.

true, not that different but those details mark added in the production made it a 10/10 for me!

Impact and Secrets amazing and very underrated :clap3:

Over Now is okay! Feels Right is AWESOME, personally my favorite track from him this year is Echoes but Feels Right is JUST behind it.

Positions, Cool, Impact, and Experience, also songs I really enjoyed this year :clap3:

omg, you're so right about Positions, one of her highlights! It's gonna be affected by late release on my countdown too :'(

You liked Cool more than Positions? Inch resting

Cool aged poorly for me

21. Victoria Monet - Experience (with Khalid and SG Lewis)

23. SG Lewis, Robyn, Channel Tres - Impact

24. Dua Lipa - Cool

25. Ariana Grande - Positions

28. Calvin Harris, The Weeknd - Over Now

Over Now is Funk Wav., mid tempo excellence! I think people were expecting something more dance-y but I love it :giraffe: Everything else slays too :clap3:

This is actually my first time listening to Fever (for whatever reason I ignored it nn) and it's such a breezy bop :smitten:
