Maybe the fact that I was able to purchase that vinyl the day they opened for Tame Impala in my city in 2016 made a huge impact on my decision. Edited December 11, 2020 by Sunderland 4ever

Blue Rose Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 A Deeper Understanding honestly deserved top10 Lonerism is Tame Impala’s second best album after Currents (well these are their only 2 good albums )
Blue Rose Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Also some classics in here: Foster the people, Japandroids, Black keys
Staryu Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I love Torches and Lonerism also that album title 'Suck It and See'
ATRL Administrator Lee!! Posted December 11, 2020 ATRL Administrator Posted December 11, 2020 Brothers, Suck It and See, Torches, Lonerism
Remmy Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Tourist History Yup that's the album I was waiting for! Bonito Generation is really cute and quirky, listened to it for the first time this year. Torches I used to lowkey dislike Foster the People for some reason until I saw them at one of those Jingle Ball shows and checked out the album. It used to be their best work until Sacred Hearts Club dropped.
BlackoutZone Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 (edited) Lonerism is such a classic, kinda saddens me how Kevin is declining Edited December 11, 2020 by BlackoutZone
Mezik Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Going over your countdown has made me realize how much I should diversify my listening, but I also have this 'Best of' marked on my favourites so I can go back and look at some of the albums listed here. I am happy to see Tame Impala, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys and Foster the People though.
Ewan Chaos Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 This update is a ****ing slay. Bonito Generation >>>>>>>> their second album, I have no idea why people seem to feel the opposite... I guess people only started following them after they tied themselves to Hyperpop/PC music so they only listened to their newest album. SO happy to see that Nicole Atkins album here; it's soooooo good. I really liked her album this year too (not on my top 50 sadly), but this one is better imo. The War on Drugs, Japandroids, Tame Impala, and The Black Keys, rock excellence of last decade
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 12, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 12, 2020 bonito generation top 50 as it deserves do you like their second album? lonerism is a good album, i switch with currents if its their best.
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 12, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 12, 2020 again, salad days and suck it and see are the ones i know but i'm not into them :/
Into The Void Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 The fact i only know 4 of these names
Lazuli Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 i actually prefer a deeper understanding over lost in a dream tbh the better mac album won lonerism i used torches quite a bit back in the day but not anymore
geodancefreak Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 I don't really have an opinion about these entries, but I'm really curious to see your top20!
ikiru Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Bonito Generation! A great album, do you also like their second album? I had a hard time getting into it, but "Only Acting" remains one of the best songs of all time!
Delta Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Brothers, Suck it and See and Torches are my favorites from this batch

KKB's use of English and Japanese in their songs is amazing. 18 hours ago, BlackoutZone said: Lonerism is such a classic, kinda saddens me how Kevin is declining His first three records were just too good to be equalled. 18 hours ago, ARTPØP said: Torches So many classics there. 17 hours ago, Mezik said: Going over your countdown has made me realize how much I should diversify my listening, but I also have this 'Best of' marked on my favourites so I can go back and look at some of the albums listed here. Japandroids are awesome. I saw them live in 2013. Such a display of energy. 14 hours ago, Madame X said: bonito generation top 50 as it deserves do you like their second album? lonerism is a good album, i switch with currents if its their best. Not much, unfortunately. However, 2014's Intro Bonito and their 2019 EP were really good. 11 hours ago, Legend E said: again, salad days and suck it and see are the ones i know but i'm not into them :/ Awwww.
