Green Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 21, Pageant Material and Honey are some of my favorite albums of the last decade
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 10, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 10, 2020 21 and Pageant Material Honey is also good
Ewan Chaos Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Currents is great, but HONEY is my favorite pick here! It's so underrated STILL and an incredible album STILL. Curious to know your fave picks.
Lazuli Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 currents, pageant material, 21, lp3, honey pageant material being higher than golden hour feels RIGHT slowdive from the previous update what a comeback for them
K$Ellie Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Brockhampton had some bops here and there, they fell off hard tho Slowdive was actually great, I had to listen to it for an atrl rate Sugar For The Pill >>> 21 has nice singles and I find Honey overrated but that also has a few nice songs Currents kinda packed with classics great album overall

A truly compelling collection of balads. 19 hours ago, ARTPØP said: Currents + 21 great throwback albums! Blue Rose Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I tried to get into Real Estate so many times because people say they sound like The War On Drugs, but they never clicked for me. Mac Demarco, Vampire Weekend and Two Door Cinema Club
mokitsu Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 that gingerlys album was good! im being reminded of random albums i listened to a couple times and forgot about eventually contra and alvvays classics ofc
TheWayWeWere Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 omg, I remember when Contra went #1 on BB200 I didn't even know about VW existence it was so surprising
Tom Vercetti Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 A lot of these artists in the recent batch reminds me of my 2013 phase where I was getting into indie music.
Ewan Chaos Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 That Camera Obscura album is good! Scottish legends. Contra is a great album too. Their 2013 album is still GOAT for me, so :eyesemoji: if that appears
pyramid Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I see She&Him and Two Door Cinema Club. <3 Love them and their album
Lazuli Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 contra i somehow forgot that it was last decade the mac album is cute
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 11, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2020 contra and this old dog are the only ones i know, but i'm not a huge fan of them Quote Beach2k20 is my favorite track. bop!
potent Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Contra and Tourist History WHEW we stan I heard that Perfume song from Jens Lekman's album (I always mess up the title lol) and I liked it!
K$Ellie Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Well I've heard of Vampire Weekend but never listened to that album the last album was a big fad from what I remember 20 hours ago, Sunderland 4ever said: Right? ikiru Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I was so obsessed with 21 after it's release, I can't listen to it anymore because most of the songs got overplayed on the radio but it's still incredibly good! I really love Honey as well, but it took me some time to fully appreciate it! Contra It's such a shame that I just can't get into their latest album.

ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 11, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2020 i think the vampire weekend choice is the correct one. mvotc did not age as well and its just a fact we all have to come to terms with, aside from diane young at least. i DO think the alvvays choice was incorrect though. their sophomore improved on what they did in the debut.
