alexandra savior & polica: heard these, didn't spend enough time with them.  probably would deserve a second chance.  polica is very hit and imss with me because i hve to be in the mood for them.

the girls will stan folklore from this set.  but its fairly good, will prob be a hm for me.

I don't understand the Waxahatchee hate nnn I just keep seeing it even though she's kinda killing it on the Year End critic lists.

Ooh STRFKER or however you spell it LOL released??? Lemme add to my list~ Ah there's Folklore!

Alexandra Savior & Yumi! Ok, Alexandra's album I think was OK personally, I got a bit bored with it after a few listens but it's nice to see here. Yumi's album is actually really good. I wish I'd given it more spins; it would have been higher on my list. The last song is easily my fave.

folklore :smitten: I don't worship it like everyone else does but it's definitely solid, you can't go wrong with Taylor yup! I'll start searching through some of the other albums tonight or tomorrow.

072. Westerman - Your Hero Is Not Dead

I wanted to love this album so much but I didn’t. It sounds like a grower but I never went back to it :rip:

His voice and melodies are both amazing. I discovered him last year after he remixed Amen Dunes’ LA

I didn't love folklore as much as other of her albums, it's still really great tbh :cm:

From your last two sets I've only checked for Waxahatchee and Taylor. I actually quite liked the Waxahatchee album but I only listened to it once. Taylor was just alright though.

folklore is a wonderful album!

I checked out Grace Joyner, because it was the cover art that stood out to me the most. I listened to "Hung The Moon" and it's so good! The chorus is lovely and so is her voice! Will add that album to my list!

Curious fact: Alexandra Savior's album was the first 2020 record I heard! Polica's album was rather strange. Sometimes I loved it and sometimes it didn't connect with me, but mostly I've liked it.

STRKFR released two records this year. I was honestly surprised with their second release. They went full ambient there. There's a Yumi Zouma song that will end high on my songs ranking.

Same. It's a solid record. I haven't seen you again, Remmy. :coffee2:

Yes, I've felt the same with him. His voice is unique, no doubt about it, but I feel like something's lacking in his songs. Confirmation is outstanding, though.

I have only checked one, and that was because of people's YECDs. I haven't watched video clips at all this year. :dies:

Great pick! The first half of the album has very good tracks. Expect at least a song to appear on my next list.

FIONA not even top 50 :cries:

it stings, cause the 2 albums surrounding it were relative disappointments for me.  caribou's forgettable and haim's had the shadow of summer girl/now im in it the whole time.

Honestly, I like the way Fiona creepily glances down at Caribou's album, meaning "what are you doing there? I should have been Top 50." :dies:

Ethan Gruska YAAAAAAAS. HAIM, Fiona, and Caribou back to back. Fiona so low though! But it's okay.

Oh The Big Moon's album! That was one of the first albums I listened to this year as well, but not the first (I think the first was Field Music or w/e their name is). Take a Piece is my fave song too :-* I think that album is somewhere on my top 100.
