The New Abnormal, yesssss :jonny5:

I also wanted to include Wallows's album for this year's list but then I forgot about it. I agree with the standout track. Are You Bored Yet? is so good!

Easy, Power and IYE all bops

Hallelujah is decent, I prefer Oh Wonder's. The Steps, Billie x2, Level of Concern, Supalonely  "she definitely has better songs on her album" Does she? :gaycat3: Plenty of tracks were cute but didn't leave an impression on me. yspjhu and To Die For :clap3: Easy (no it is NOT better than TYH!), WYP?, My Own Soul's Warning, Power :smitten::smitten::smitten: In Your Eyes :sats: Yeah it 100% should've dominated alongside Blinding Lights instead of dying in its shadow. || The Oh Wonder and Bombay albums were cute enough. Brightest Blue and Blood Harmony :eddie: Still pressed that I Don't Miss You at All was so short. Kiii at the last minute additions, Nightly's album was good even though I've already forgotten some songs. You already know my thoughts on joan :worship: love me better being paid DUST oh wow...

In your eyes should've been bigger than BL tbh, tho but are really amazing songs!!

Everything I wanted is the best song Billie's ever released imo, hope she keeps releasing that kind of music... I could never get much into Bad guy tbh

I've always loved Ellie's voice, and yeah she delivered some good songs this year :)

In your eyes, Sleep At Night, everything i wanted, What's Your Pleasure, Power, The Steps, My Own Soul's Warning, No Time To Die, Supalonely, To Die for, Easy  :clap3:

To Die For was cute but I prefer Diamonds and Kids Again

Supalonely is the one I like most to be a single, but there are others I like more just based on the song itself if that makes sense? But also I need to listen to it more lol
I mean I'll rank the tracks when I reveal Troye's EP :eli:

I think it would be hard for any song to be bigger than BL :dies: and I do prefer BL, but both are great

Bad Guy is a bop but I can definitely see how it would be polarizing

Diamonds might be better tbh, it came out near the end of the year so that's why it's not higher. I just really like the emotional vibe and the chorus of TDF and it's not boring like some of his ballads can be.

this was supposed to be in a spoiler but idk how to edit it without deleting the quotes :dies: so sorry

Easy is such a great song! Do you also like the version with Kacey?

everything i wanted higher than NTTD, we love to see it!

Are You Bored Yet is so catchy! Ugh I miss the times when Wallows would release good music :fan:

Brightest Blue & Hey U X :clap3::clap3:

Supalonely is actually really cute. It’s

impossible not to think of it as a novelty song or a poor man’s Billie Eilish single but it does its trick.

Are You Bored Yet is a great song :alexz:according to Spotify is my most streamed song of this year :dies:

Easy deserved! Love the list.

Break My Heart seems to be under appreciated on ATRL. I think it's because for a long time after the album came out her fans called it a flop and said Hallucinate/Levitating should've been the third single instead.

Nobody with taste prefers Magic over Say Something :rip:

_________

High Road was pretty disappointing. I thought she was gonna serve dance-pop/electro-pop but it sounded more like b-sides from the Rainbow era. A missed opportunity. Raising Hell is a bop though!

The Chromatica lashings :rip: I was underwhelmed upon first listen but Plastic Doll, 911 and Replay are fab. The singles are great too

This set :jonny:  "Match In The Rain", "Level Of Concern", "Survivin'", "Friends In The Corner", "In Your Eyes", "To Die For" a lot of my faves here and all of them were growers!

I think so! I've only listened to it a few times but I like the production, not sure exactly what Kacey added to it but it's always good to hear from her still

I honestly think I like NTTD better but EIW had more of an impact on me if that makes sense

Well I think Wallows only released OK, Nobody Gets Me, and Virtual Aerobics this year, unless there was an EP I missed somewhere?
