ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 10, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 10, 2020 ablaze, care, march march, simmer, my future, save a kiss all TOO low though
Sunderland 4ever Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I loooove Lost In Yesterday and Dance, Dance. The latter was one of my favorite songs of 2006.
Lazuli Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 it might be time is fine but probably my least favourite pre-release march march is cute the birthday party is so good! heartless is definitely overhated simmer and save a kiss too low!
K$Ellie Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Care is really good but I think her album has better Night Garden indeed quite weak, my least fave on the album Fiona high on the artist list and Shameika #1 Ciara and Girls Aloud back to back, both have so many good singles
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Save Your Tears, Mirage (Don't Stop) are too low But yeah, Mirage is more like 2019 songs. I thought i forgot to put it on my list and then i remember it's not eligible anyway lafahajkhavfa Over Now is a good imo but yeah, i kinda want something more big from them. I know thay can deliver it but i guess delivered a save bop is enough for them Future Nostalgia, Bad Friend, It Might Be Time, March March, Simmer, Save A Kiss
Tom Vercetti Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I like heartless and I was a bit harsh on it back when it first dropped. Artist Wise, 1,2 step is Cici's best song, yep. Almost forgot that Rihanna is a music artist.
Mezik Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 The Chicks & Miranda both representing country music on your list, good choices. Jesse has released some great music this year too, I'm glad I discovered her. Simmer, Heartless & Wild Roses are all cute too.

Yeah but Amy Winehouse could make those songs interesting because of her vocals I mean obviously you don't listen to a Billie song for the vocals but I feel like without something else to elevate it it's just kind of one note. On 12/9/2020 at 8:56 AM, Mr.Link said: I would have loved Lamb’s Wool a bit higher. Somehow I like it a lot. Care is just so great, I wish there were more songs like that in the mainstream so that early 2000s pop/rock can make a comeback. Colors and Black Parade The rest are okay and I agree with their placement. I think my favorite droplet from them was Pick U Up, but tbh they all charted on my countdown I'm not sure how they manage to keep me interested, normally I would've stopped checking after a few random singles Care is great but she has a higher song, I even listened to her album, nothing revolutionary but it's great to hear that type of music still getting some attention. On 12/9/2020 at 11:05 AM, Remmy said: Lamb's Wool, The Things We Do, Heartless (a small grower), my future Into My Arms, Honest, Someone Else, Simmer, Save a Kiss mmm all of those are lovely Not several of these songs being called weak but they almost made the top 100 || Ciara's early bops still go off Same for Fall Out Boy's of course. Rihanna, Billie and Adele Well being out of the top 100 is good justification for calling them weak, no? Anyway it's more comparative, if an artist releases an amazing song and the next one is just pretty good then I might still call that one weak. On 12/9/2020 at 1:20 PM, mokitsu said: you better stan my future altho i dont undestand if ur saying MF is bad or the new song is Both I mean obviously they're not bad if they're here, but she's capable of better. potent Posted December 11, 2020 Author Posted December 11, 2020 (edited) singles 100-81 blurbs for every song now, although nothing too extensive until like top 20 artists with songs still in: Sam Smith, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Finneas, Troye Sivan, Alicia Keys, Sub Urban, The 1975, Demi Lovato *if my graphics look “stretched” on mobile, just click on the image and it will look better, sorry about this lol it sometimes does this and sometimes doesn’t, I don’t really know why* Edited December 11, 2020 by potent
geodancefreak Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Hallucinate, Golden, Take Yourself Home, Kids Again All beautiful songs Excited for the rest of the list!
Macchi Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 You have such a great and varied taste in artists... perched for more
Sunderland 4ever Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 First time I see The Strokes. Bad Decisions was a good track, but not the best off their album, which was excellent.
ikiru Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Take Yourself Home I absolutely agree with what you said about Sub Urban! Based on Billie's success his music could actually be successful as well, but he just doesn't seem to click with the GP. Maybe the world doesn't need a male Billie? Freak is still a really enjoyable song!
Mr. Loco Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 P!nk didn't do much this year, but she has so many classics that she also was my #11 artist this year... a legend Dua & Harry Golden is actually a bop, it charted low on mine as well, but probably will do better next year
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 11, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2020 you were disappointed by the strokes? to me... they hadn't done anything memorable in 15+ years so my expectations were, uh, not high lol. i thougth they surpassed them. janet almost in the top 20 a timeless legend.
Blue Rose Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Bad Decisions and Kids Again are my faves from the update. looks like you stan Sam
TheWayWeWere Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Hallucinate remains such a fresh bop Underdog is so basic, but catchy at the same time Golden and Falling
Mr.Link Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 The Shaed song caught me off guard I thought they would be 1hws (well they are, but you know) Visitor is really good too, I didn’t expect that band to have so much longevity beyond their mainstream days. Chew on My Heart and M&YTS are the highlights of this set though i wish those two were the last we’ll see of Harry Styles but he still has two lives...
