#10 Troye Sivan - In A Dream

 

So I usually wouldn't have included an EP in my album list but I couldn't figure a 10th album to complete the list but he served quality this year and deserves the credit  every sing is good and it's just so cohesive as a whole. Full of artistic production choices yet is still useful and boppable, Billie's discography can't rihlate  maybe it's for the best it was kept a short EP without any filler ruining it

 

Top 3: In A Dream, Easy, STUD

WORST song: 10/10 but we still don't skip her

 

 

 

#9 Kylie Minogue - DISCO

 

The album is far from perfect with its often dated production as some of it already aged nn. I only go out of my way to visit my top 3 and perhaps a couple others, however I definitely do enjoy playing the album as a whole to feel like the biggest f word in the world for an hour 

 

Top 3: Pray Something, Real GODve, Miss A Thing

WORST song: all the deluxe tracks 

 

 

 

#8 5 Seconds Of Summer - CALM

 

It was my first time listening to them and whew so many bops  they checked the "useful bops with a hot MAN's voice" box for me this year

 

Top 3: No Shame, Wildflower, Not In The Same Way

WORST song: High, a bore

Wasn't that 5SOS album the one that blocked Dua from getting number 1 in the UK the week of her release, but then she climbed to #1 and they dropped like a rock the next week? sksksks OH they had that Youngblood song I think. That was big here, and actually pretty good.

 

Fine Wine is on the level of Monday Blues of a silly, stupid bop that I can't hate it. Idk why people hate Spotlight...? But either way happy to see In a Dream and Disco here!

ok.  i am listening to the 5sos song now.

 

kinda weird, because from the intro party and the video aesthetics i thought it was gonna be a harry styles ripoff but its... not at all lol.

 

overall i think it had a really fun and memorable hook but the verses were kinda copy & paste pop 2020 verses.  but its pop so the chorus is more important so overall the verdict is positive.

nn but I don't think they're from the UK and Dua had bundles etc so it was understandable

Youngblood is cute but kii at the way it has like 1B streams on spotify  it feels like a moderate hit with 300M streams at best
