The fact that the worst song, Paradisin', is still a banger speaks to how great this album is. She set a high bar with the RINA EP as well as Cherry and Flicker, but Sawayama exceeded all expectations. Miley Cyrus - Angels Like You This is kinda the new Wrecking Ball. Just an amazing power pop rock ballad #18. Dua Lipa - Break My Heart The Moodymann Remix of this really made me appreciate the production of this song even more. A smash #17. Rina Sawayama - Dynasty Killer opener to an amazing album. The last chorus is heavenly #16. Troye Sivan - Take Yourself Home I surprised even myself that I placed this so high, even above Easy. But I realized that this is excellent, washed Allie X and the outro washed Kim Petras #15. Rina Sawayama - Tokyo Love Hotel This was originally in my top 10 but listening again it feels correct here. A fantastic Cherry rehash #14. Zara Larsson - Love Me Land She took a page from Dua's book and served her Don't Start Now moment with this one (too bad it bombed, the MV is great tho) and she pulled an Ava Max by making an amazing song that's just 2:40 #13. Kylie Minogue - Magic Initially this felt weird as an opener to DISCO but I've grown to like it as an opener. The song itself is a flawless jam #12. Kylie Minogue - Dance Floor Darling This and Magic are on pretty much the same level, but I just think this song goes to another dimension. That outro scalps me every time #11. Harry Styles - Adore You I knew early on this would place very highly on my Best of 2020 list (even thought it came out in 2019). ANYWAY. i think there are a couple duds on rina's album that hamper it but the limb bizkit meets britney style is very good and its what ppl will remember the album for anyway. speaking of weak sayama song... tokyo love hotel? but ok, dynasty is there too so ill accept it. nice kylie picks, they're bops. good troye pick too, very artistic and stuff.
