Golden, while I used it a lot in 2018, aged poorly and is one of her weakest albums. But with Disco, every damn song is a bop, even the bonuses, and the songs range from good to outstanding. Harry Styles - Golden That damn hook is so great. This sounds like a future classic methinks #48. Little Mix - Break Up Song Terrible music video aside, this is a great synthy power bop and easily the best from the album. #47. KAYTRANADA - The Worst In Me (feat. Tinashe) I love the production on this, it's so slick and groovy. And Tinashe killed it as always #46. RAYE - Please Don't Touch I love how this song is 80s tinged but not too retro sounding. Ahead of the curve methinks #45. Aly & AJ - Attack of Panic The ultimate collapse. That production #44. Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia A classic album opener. #43. Carly Rae Jepsen - This Love Isn't Crazy Dedicated Side B was kind of underwhelming (compared to the flawless Emotion Side B) and I haven't listened to the full album since the month it came out I think. But this and another song are the two songs I'll take with me #42. Kiesza - All of the Feelings Who would have expected Kiesza, the Hideaway chanteuse, to come back in 2020 with a flawless pop song? Like, how random. She kinda washed Carly with this one though. The only reason it's not in my top 40 is because it wasn't really a big part of my year. #41. Lady Gaga - Babylon Just missing the top 40 is the best song on Chromatica. What an amazing closer, my only gripe is that it's too short!
