Amazon exclusive, like Ellie Goulding last year :dies:

Omg #8. Who is streaming his cover of that song, when the original was fine by itself :rip:

I don't understand how this amazon fraud works?

If I remember correctly, last christmas the Ellie song was at the top of every holiday playlist on Amazon Music and Alexa would play it when you tell her to play christmas music. I don't know how it works this year because Jess Glynne has an Amazon exclusive song too

I'm so proud of Ari, Dua, Miley and Little Mix. (especially Little Mix because they deserved another smash and it's been a while since they slayed the charts)

Aren’t points for old songs cut in half?

I have no clue.  Are they?

They are due to accelerated chart rules. That's why she wasn't able to go #1 last year cos she was competing with Ellie's song, so Mariah would've needed more than double Ellie's streams.

I'm sure there's some kind of fraud going on. I know older songs need double the number of points but they're available on all streaming services, and Amazon music can't have *that* big of a user base...:biblio:

I just noticed Jess is at #14 :rip:

It’s #1 on Amazon’s in all Christmas playlists so when people ask “Hey Alexa, play Christmas music” it’s the first one played.

Midnight Sky :jonny5:a repeak after 3 & 1/2 months would be insane, it'll probably fall to #5-6 though

It’ll probably end up re-peaking in January after al the Xmas music falls off.

Holy shirt, less than 600 units.

Hoping Sweet Melody can get to #1 in the New Year after all the Xmas songs dropped out

So how does the rule operate?

Each artist can have a maximum of three songs charting as a lead. Also songs older than 3 years are automatically set to ACR effectively cutting their streams in half.

I can't believe Little Mix is so close to the top spot! :jonny:Surely their team can do something to get that #1.

Can they add it to TTH, selling something, make a quick remix?

Mariah seems likely to go #1.

On albums today Gary Barlow is at 29k and Steps at 25k.
