okay :toofunny3: Her peak was enormous in the early 2000s. Bey and Alicia Keys were behind her even for a while.

Try The Way That I Love You I think you will like it. It's a classic Ashanti along with Foolish.

I have a secret obsession with early 2000s R&B. Its why I love "Songs In A Minor" by Alicia Keys. :jonny5:

I first listened to "The Way That I Love You" and I can see the appeal but I would need more listens to get to it.

Then I listened to "Foolish" and MY GOD ITS SO GOOD! :jonny2: (Maybe I need to know this lady). Around this time I grew up in the rough parts of the Bronx, NY so this is the type of music that would be around me so there is a nostalgic part to it. It reminds me of "Trouble" by Alicia Keys.

Maybe dweebz was wrong. :clap3:

Foolish is THAT song

Baby why you hurt me?

Leave me and desert me

Boy I gave you all my heart

And all you do is tear it up

Looking out my window

Knowing that I should go

Even when I pack my bags

See something always holds me back

That song came on the radio one day earlier this year and all my co-workers stop and sung this part. Legendary song.

Ashanti peaked in 2002... I was 4. Im 22 now.

Please dont ask if im 10 because I'm not familiar with an act from early 2000s, its pretty ignorant.

Not really. Beyoncé and Alicia Keys were never behind both our the tops female artist of 2000s. Both have always sold more than her. Ashanti definitely had a nice era tho

I literally never have honey. Its pretty ignorant to think people have heard a song of someone just because they're you're fave. Lets use common sense. :isudumblmao:

They lowkey kinda ****ed up the original song "Baby" :rip:  Even Ashanti's new part is Ehhhh lyrically.  I know it's supposed to be nasty, but still.

But I'm happy for Ashanti though! :1stplace:

SN: Meg's part about the weave was funny though...I literally LOLed when I heard it the first time.
