I have a secret obsession with early 2000s R&B. Its why I love "Songs In A Minor" by Alicia Keys. I first listened to "The Way That I Love You" and I can see the appeal but I would need more listens to get to it. Then I listened to "Foolish" and MY GOD ITS SO GOOD! (Maybe I need to know this lady). Around this time I grew up in the rough parts of the Bronx, NY so this is the type of music that would be around me so there is a nostalgic part to it. It reminds me of "Trouble" by Alicia Keys. Maybe dweebz was wrong.

naval23 Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Foolish is THAT song Baby why you hurt me? Leave me and desert me Boy I gave you all my heart And all you do is tear it up Looking out my window Knowing that I should go Even when I pack my bags See something always holds me back

Legendary song.

Not really. Beyoncé and Alicia Keys were never behind both our the tops female artist of 2000s. Both have always sold more than her. Ashanti definitely had a nice era tho
