bestfiction
ABBA - Take a Chance on Me It's alright Beach House - Dive The first half of the song was a bit boring but a change halfway though was really nice Beach House - Space Song Absolutely gorgeous Bee Gees - Nights on Broadway Bold decision to send this but I'm not fond of it Kate Bush - Cloudbusting I've never listened to her before but maybe... She snapped Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God) Another great song Kate Bush - This Woman's Work Adding her music to my library as we speak OutKast - Ms. Jackson Pretty cool Robyn - Call Your Girlfriend A bit corny, but cute Sade - The Sweetest Taboo Cute x SOPHIE - Is It Cold in the Water? St. Vincent - Cruel She's got a point. She's an icon, she's a legend and she is the moment. Now come on now. St. Vincent - Strange Mercy She's got a point. She's an icon, she's a legend and she is the moment. Now come on now. [2] SZA - Drew Barrymore I've liked that album for a quick second in 2017 and then forgot about it completely fdjfdh. Well it's alright SZA - The Weekend A slightly better alright The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited Well it's just okay The Weeknd - In Your Eyes Well it's not as good as In Your Eyes by Kylie Minogue but it's cute Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps This doesn't do anything for me tbh

mokitsu
Take a chance on me - love ABBA but you could've done so much more with their discog imo. I like it though Dive - getting kinda tired of seeing them in song games but oh well. at least this album shook up their formula a bit and this is an amazing song. Space song - i think i prefer dive? both are going to be pretty high up honestly, they're equally gorgeous, but i think Dive is more out-there and i'm going to reward that Nights on broadway - from what i've heard, the only Bee Gees songs i like are from the Saturday Night Fever album, and i miss that sleek, classy disco sound in this song. plus Barry Gibbs singing in his normal voice is kinda strange. i like it, but this is a very strong round with songs i'm very familiar with, so it's probably going to be ranked lower Cloudbusting - the whole album is stunning, but the singles are really something else. For me, this one does it the most - the gorgeous strings and percussion, the buildup and that ending with what seems like an army of people marching and chanting, and of course her unique lyrics and delivery. There's so much emotion in this and I love it. Running up that hill - Not only does this have a killer instrumental, with that incredible drum loop and weird synths really creating a quite eerie vibe, but the song itself is a great meditation on the male/female dynamics and it's a huge She Did That moment This woman's work - I never cared for this much until it appeared on a Handmaid's tale episode and i GOT it (actually now that i think about it Cloudbusting was in it too, but it wasn't as effective kii). this might not be as deep or inventive as the previous songs but the emotional vocal delivery and the dramatic production get me everytime Ms Jackson - there's nothing about it i HATE but i can't get into it they have much better imo. Actually this is very repetitive and kinda grating/annoying Call your girlfriend - this gay classic such a perfectly crafted synthpop song The sweetest taboo - you snapped i considered sending Smooth Operator, but i think it perfectly melts the soul and jazzy essence of Sade with a more pop leaning sound Is it cold in the water - No x Cruel - it's no Cheerleader, but it's good, it feels a bit aimless though Strange mercy - IF I EVER MEET THE DIRTY POLICEMAN WHO ROUGHED YOU UP Another track much better than Cruel (also very funny that the synths here are very similar to Running up that hill's kii) Drew barrymore - never like this that much, sometimes this really hits but it's not one of those days The weekend - much better than Drew but i'm not feeling this much today, idk I'm so excited - this bops but how are they over 3.5 nnn. irregardless to me 80s classics = instant 10s In your eyes - so dated, bland and tacky Maps - never liked this much despite like their following albums. I think it's supposed to sound sad but she just sounds bored and emotionless it's also very repetitive

Auburn
ABBA - Take a Chance on Me: a classic I think Beach House - Dive: I think this is nice, but it takes way too long for the song to pick up to full speed for a game like this Beach House - Space Song: I liked this more than the other one, but I still find it a bit lethargic. I’m gonna assume their music is meant to be consumed as a full album rather than a single track. Bee Gees - Nights on Broadway: really enjoyed this, great instrumental and production Kate Bush - Cloudbusting: a masterpiece, my favourite song by her Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God): a classic, but I have always liked Cloudbusting better Kate Bush - This Woman's Work: my least fave of the Kate songs here OutKast - Ms. Jackson: was never a huge fan of this song, but it is a classic Robyn - Call Your Girlfriend: it’s alright, I was never a huge fan of this either Sade - The Sweetest Taboo: timeless classic, like most of Sade’s music SOPHIE - Is It Cold in the Water?: girlie this is pure noise St. Vincent - Cruel: didn’t enjoy this much either St. Vincent - Strange Mercy: I liked this a lot more than the previous one SZA - Drew Barrymore: my fave song by her! I love it so much SZA - The Weekend: more basic than the other song, but I still like it too The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited: this classic bop whew! The Weeknd - In Your Eyes: this was one of the standouts for me when I first listened to the album Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps: it’s a cute middle for me

touya kinomoto
ABBA - Take a Chance on Me • I love me some ABBA but this is one of their songs that I really don't care about. If I were to choose another track from that album, I would have gone with "Thank You for the Music". That one is an abosulte classic. Beach House - Dive • I am doing my critiques at the end of my shift so I am kinda tired and sleepy. NGL the first half of this song almost sent me to sleep. But as soon as the production built up, I see now the appeal of this song. Beach House - Space Song • Ah yes, a better entry and a better song. Great choice. Bee Gees - Nights on Broadway • Hmm, this is okay. I am not too head over heels in love with it though. Kate Bush - Cloudbusting • The power that that has, the intelligence that that has, the clearance that that has, the access that that has, the influence that that has, the profile that that has, the international implications that that has Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God) • The power that that has, the intelligence that that has, the clearance that that has, the access that that has, the influence that that has, the profile that that has, the international implications that that has [2] Kate Bush - This Woman's Work • The power that that has, the intelligence that that has, the clearance that that has, the access that that has, the influence that that has, the profile that that has, the international implications that that has [3] An all-Kate Bush top 3 ain't not bad no? OutKast - Ms. Jackson • A classic and slander against this is just tastelessness Robyn - Call Your Girlfriend • A classic and slander against this is just tastelessness [2] Sade - The Sweetest Taboo • C'mon, Miss Sade. This is a cute song. SOPHIE - Is It Cold in the Water? • https://media1.tenor.com/images/57370c7a493b8085a8b1e79bd05d9304/tenor.gif?itemid=15489251 St. Vincent - Cruel • C'mon, Miss Annie! This is a slay. St. Vincent - Strange Mercy • The superior Annie entry this round. Slay! SZA - Drew Barrymore • Love this album but not this song. But this is still a good song compared to a few entries SZA - The Weekend • The superior CTRL track. Also better than the other The Weekmd entry The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited • A cute classic The Weeknd - In Your Eyes • Yes Abel, yes talent Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps • A classic and slander against this is just tastelessness [3]
