I'm not going to lie, I was scared when I saw y'all send a Girls Aloud song, but this is actually really nice. It has like retro flair without sounding dated. Now I'm in It I think everyone has agreed that this was the best single from the album, but I definitely prefer The Steps. It's still an amazing song, but I'm tired of it. But, again, on paper it's a great song with fresh production. Frail State of Mind Possibly their best song. Really nice and topical lyrics. Although it is aging a bit for me, I think I've overplayed it. Idk a lot of HAIM's music but i love this a lot, it's such a feelgood track! Girls Aloud - Biology I wasn't into this when I was younger but now I really like it. The switchups are kinda entertaining and it's certainly not generic (and it's better than Call The Shots btw). HAIM - Now I'm in It This is probably the best song sent from them this entire game. As an individual who's never been a fan of them, I can appreciate this. It packs a punch production wise. The 1975 - Frail State of Mind They're like chameleons just toe-dipping in each genre that they can have access to. From 80s revivalism to 90s britpop/jangle pop to 00s uk garage. It really depends on what style suits the listener. As for this song, I don't view it as a success but it's not bad either. That sudden speed up in the tempo in the pre-chorus is so great. It prevents the song from being monotonous. Also the simple yet godly hook, I- Very solid choice. tbh. Girls Aloud - Biology Look at this other classique! You know I am a sucker for a song with a great retro vibe and this one does this so well without sounding dated. And the absence of a real chorus, now that is experimental. Great job! HAIM - Now I'm in It I was expecting a Days Are Gone song tbh but Women in Music Pt. III works too. It was either this or The Steps. The way that slowdown hits in the right spot, amazing! The production is the main strength of this song and it's just sooooo good. Here, take my number 1! The 1975 - Frail State of Mind Let me take a bit of an offense @clue but you sent the best The 1975 song last season with Somebody Else. Anyhow, this is one of their best, top 5 in their impressive discography. The way that they interpolated their OWN song and make it a much better song? Awesome. The message? Timely. The production?
