Bubblegum Dreams A hazy surf rock moment. So fun and perfect for the round. Not the most solid song on the album, but it's cute with the letter restraints and all tha. Redbone It took me forever to tolerate this. It's actually really nice. Helena Beat I'm obsessed, you don't understand. Such fun production. Sunflower, Vol. 6 Fits for the round, but it kinda doesn't go anywhere for me still. Definitely not bad, but it just feels forced from him?? Dead to Me The production is super decedent. It's cute. Teen Heat Classic omfg. The way that that chorus just explodes. Hand Mouth Dancer This is encapsulating. :praiseshock:. Really nice production. The last section we–––––––-. Also why did I not know that this album came out? Breathe Deeper Where do I begin? One of my favorite songs of the year. The way that it's over 6 mins long but doesn't drag AT all. Ariel Pink - Bubblegum Dreams Again, a song that I would typically hate, but I can't really hate it. I feel like I'm watching some indie movie or at least a trailer, and it's cute. But cute can only take you so far... Childish Gambino - Redbone YES, GOD. Foster the People - Helena Beat YES, GOD. [2] Harry Styles - Sunflower, Vol. 6 I'm not sure if this is my favorite from Harry's album, but the album was quite solid anyways, and it works here. We'll see how it pans against the other songs this round. Kali Uchis - Dead to Me This is catchy. Dig it. Kimbra - Teen Heat Wow, this song truly came alive in the chorus. Still a good choice nonetheless. Ariel Pink - Bubblegum Dreams WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS TO US?!? You know we can't all come to the beach but here you are serving as a song with a great beach vibes. I HATE YOU! But with all that being said, this is a solid choice. Great job! Childish Gambino - Redbone I love Donald Glover but I hated this song ever since I heard it. It has at least grew on me a bit but I still don't like it that much. Sorry. Foster the People - Helena Beat Torches is one of my most played albums back when I was still in college and next to the classic Pumped Up Kicks, this song is probably the one that I liked this most. Harry Styles - Sunflower, Vol. 6 The better Sunflower was already sent last round. But at least you tried and this fit the theme but... Kali Uchis - Dead to Me Ma'am, this slaps! Oh wow, oh wow, Miss Uchis did what? THAT! Kimbra - Teen Heart I appreciate the change in tempo and makes it stand out among the entries. Also that chorus is so gorgeous. But there are some point in the song that the vocals are kinda annoying. Pond - Hand Mouth Dancer Oh wow, this is such an experience! This is such a great song. Thank you for sending this in. Tame Impala - Breathe Deeper Why the hell did you steal my song? Anyhow, this is the better Tame Impala song this round despite being 6 minutes long so good job on snatching my song. Tame Impala - Elephant This classique! Breathe Deeper is a better song ngl but this is still a solid choice. U.S. Girls - M.A.H. Hmm, I have given this a couple more listens to get this song and I really tried but it is not really working for me. There is something lacking but I can't point a finger to it.
