genio Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Spoiler Madonna: If there was one song to define the word classic, this would be it. You really couldn't have went with a better Madonna title track than Like A Prayer, excellent choice. I love everything about this single from the lyrics, to the video, her voice, the choir, just perfection from start to finish. Celine: Falling Into You is adult contemporary gone right. Her voice is like smooth butter here and yet the track does not fail to solidify Celine as a vocal powerhouse. You did pick a great choice here, kudos to that. Rihanna: I was hoping for you to pick this one (did you even have any other choices?), I love Jay's iconic opening rap verse here and the song overall is a whole bop and a half, the dancehall elements just make this song even better than it already is. I do stan carribean excellence! Katy Perry: this isn't a bad choice, but I was never really fully into Teenage Dream (song only, the album is good), then again it is the best Katy title track you could've sent, so I will take that into consideration when I will give out the points (yes Witness is even worse). It is not a bad song though, not at all. I am still bopping. Good choice. Britney: the bubblegum-pop era remains one of the most iconic eras in the music industry and no other song is more remembered and liked the way Baby One More Time is from that era. It defines bubblegum and has set the bar way too high, even for Miss Robot herself. This is a great choice, although I love Circus a bit more, but still, amazing track. Alicia: I know you didn't have any other option but I always found Girl On Fire to be a little annoying, it's not a bad choice, but it's too adjusted for radio, if that makes sense. A little too generic for my own liking. Janelle: This was okay, it started nice but I didn't really vibe with it as much as I was hoping I would in the beginning and the song is a little too long. The features here are very cute though and kind of save the song a bit for me. Ellie: I really enjoy this Ellie single and always have, I never got the hate and panning for it tbh. I personally think this is up there with her best singles, you picked a great choice here. Spoiler @clue @PinkBox @EriKills @kiiwii @A Public Affair @Not Like The Movies @Dessy @touya kinomoto Stay safe and healthy guys

Celine Dijon Mustard: Well, this is a leap in the right direction after the last two rounds. It drags on a bit, but you know, the production (albeit dated) was a nice touch with her voice. Good job, Fatbox, I don't hate it. Forehead: I see you learned how to use your ****ING BRAIN THIS ROUND ERIKILLS. Did Natalia decide to ship you to school inbetween rounds? Seems like it, honestly. You knew to not play this round and I'm feeling a lil proud. As the other rap stan that isn't Genie in the panel, whew, a whole ****ing bop. Tokio Toni and the fruit's fav: we bringing me back to when life was good huh, that's the **** we doing right here right now (by jordin sparks, yes speezy i gave ya bitch promo). a classic, the Future Nostalgia of the 2010s, kii. Raccoon Eyes: it's a classic, we been knew that. we love a good throwback. it's a bop and half. what's sad is that most of the other girls in the industry will never have a song this iconic, this big, and that's still a pop staple. that's really sad huh. Florida Keys: i remember this song being everywhere and it's such a traumatic experience for me, i won't lie. HOWEVER, that doesn't change that the quality of this song was decent. it's amazing how much that quality INCREASED with HERE, WHEEEEEEW. send more songs from that pls. Possible Future Storm Actress and Possibly In Black Panther 2/Thor 4: Electric Lady? Classic. Fun album, we stan. This song feels really fun, loves it, always have. Janelle talent, anyone who hates it has zero taste, teehee. Female Singer Who USED to be Good and Element Still Stans For Some Reason: Well. This was a banger when it was released, but it's definitely aged over time. However, there was an ounce of originality in this as it didn't really sound like anything else out at the time. It's a shame that she can't do this anymore. Again, banger that's nostalgic, but aged quite a bit. Spoiler @clue @PinkBox @EriKills @kiiwii @A Public Affair @Not Like The Movies @Dessy @touya kinomoto it’s literally EIGHT people tag them lazy b*tch
shelven Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 Spoiler Madonna: This song is so cool and fascinating because of how catchy and fun it is while also being super interesting and unique. The song moves through so many different sounds, but it all comes together so well. A great classic. Celine Dion: This is a very pretty song, and her vocals and the production create a really peaceful, serene feeling. I was starting to get a tiny bit bored of it, but that little sax interlude was really nice and well-timed. Rihanna: It’s a bop, but I’ve never been a massive fan of it. Jay-Z’s verse annoys me for some reason, and I don’t love the chorus. The main verse and the bridge are both really good though, so overall it’s decent. Katy Perry: This is actually one of those songs I’ve grown to like more over time. Really wasn’t a fan of it when it came out, and while I still don’t love it, I do appreciate it more. Still not a big fan of Katy’s bubblegum pop songs, but among those songs of hers, this is obviously one of he best. Britney Spears: Yup yup yup. A bop and a classic. Absolutely love listening to this song, it never fails to put me in a good mood and it’s a perfect encapsulation of the fun pop of the early 2000s. Alicia Keys: I know this song doesn’t really get much love compared to her classics, but I’ve always liked this song. It’s simple, but in a good way that makes it a nice, chill listen. Janelle Monae: Ooh, this is a bop. Catchy, fun, great chorus, and the perfect amount of funky. And despite its length, I think it uses the 5 minutes really well and it didn’t feel like it dragged. Really liked this. Ellie Goulding: Never listen to anybody who says this is dated or got worse over time because they’re WRONG and their taste is TRASH. This is a pop classic and we LOVE it in 2020 just as much as we loved it when it was released. Spoiler @clue @PinkBox @EriKills @kiiwii @A Public Affair @Not Like The Movies @Dessy @touya kinomoto This was a really strong round overall, I think these are my highest scores overall of any round so far.
