luckystrike Posted March 16, 2020 Author Posted March 16, 2020 Spoiler Kacey Musgraves: I love how she sounds in this, love the vibe and the song, makes me wanna drink hot chocolate in front of a fireplace Ariana Grande: well.. they sound great but I was a BIT bored nnnn Madonna: a CLASSIC, period Céline Dion: oh wow she did that so beatifully, you took a risk here cause originally miss Ariana had sent the same song but she changed and that would´ve been a MESS kssdfk Rihanna: everytime I listen to this song I can't help but thinking about that video of the girl covering this song and doing a terrible job kiiii, a bop though! Katy Perry: I was just listening to this yesterday, it's sooo underrated, such a great song Britney Spears: you stomped, a classic period HyunA: omg this was a BOPPPPPPPPP maybe my favorite entry of yours so far, I was hooked since the very beginning and bopped till the very end, miss HyunA getting her redemption Alicia Keys: oh wow I loved how she switched it up cause I was getting a bit bored but that got me right back on track, loved it Janelle Monáe: omg I really enjoyed this surprisingly, it was the perfect length cause if it was longer I would've probably gotten a bit bored but she did that! Fantasia: I didn't like this song as much as I've liked your past entries, it's not bad though and as always she sounds amazing, it was just okay LOONA: I couldn't find where your song was featured in... awaiting response to see if it actually fits the theme chile... besides that, it was a cute bop, I enjoyed it Ellie Goulding: a CLASSIC, one of her best songs ever yup yup Kelly Clarkson: omg the NOSTALGIA, this is a great song period Spoiler @EriKills @Touch It @boys @PinkBox @Dessy@kiiwii @thecptz @Not Like The Movies @touya kinomoto @Alena @Legend E @K$Ellie @A Public Affair @Clueless
genio Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Spoiler Kacey: this was a cute choice, I've not seen Frozen II yet but it definitely sounds like it fits the movie perfectly as it has this winter vibe to it. Ariana: this sounds like a budget version of "The Prayer" , I still like it a lot and it's also a very suitable choice for this round. I wish you would've went with another track, but it's not bad. Madonna: Even myself, a straight man, can bop to this gay classique. We love that for us!!! Straight men with an attitude don't just stand there lets get into it or whatever WHEW :bop: Celine: YAS MAMA!!! This song might be old as time but it's a TIMELESS CLASSIQUE :praise: Rihanna: YOUUUUU NEEEEEEEEEDED ME :praise: A ****ing SONG. Excellent Choice Katy: cute! didn't know this was in a movie lol but one of her better songs. Britney: another CLASSIQUE she did that Hyuna: this was a bit too much bubblegum but I can see this getting played in like a kids/teenager movie for sure so it fits the soundtrack theme nonetheless. Alicia: I didn't enjoy this it may got a bit better towards the middle of the song but it still felt super mediocre for Alicia's standards tbh but just like Hyuna's entry, I can see this being played in movies and tv-shows, so points for that. Janelle: her voice fits perfectly for cinematic songs like this, I've already noticed this in the unreleased round. Very cute and made for Disney. Fantasia: Fantasia singing her heart out as always, her voice is just everything to me. It was a very cute track, albeit it felt a little too long. Loona: hmm I don't know how to feel about this one. I didn't hate it but there was something lacking for me to really enjoy it fully. Ellie: another CLASSIQUE she did that [5] Kelly: This is probably one of my least favorite Kelly tracks but yeah I can see this being featured in a caucasian'd rom-com or whatever, so I guess it fits the theme. shelven Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Spoiler Kacey Musgraves: This is one of those soundtrack songs that suffers a bit because I looooooove the original version that’s in the movie and this version isn’t as strong. But on its own, I do like it, it’s a cute girl. Ariana Grande: I mean the song is very pretty and she sounds nice here, but like… this doesn’t meet the theme. Like I get that this is a cover of a song that was used in a movie soundtrack, but this version itself never was. Madonna: That was a classic, THAT was a classic. Nothing else to say really, a fantastic song that actually meets the theme head-on as opposed to all these other loophole submissions from others. Celine Dion: Whew the way we basically chose this round theme to mock you for already using MHWGO and yet you still snapped. You really had the last laugh. Rihanna: Unpopular opinion, but this song does not deserve the insane hype and praise it gets. It’s a good song with a cool vibe, but that’s pretty much it. Also this is kind of a loophole submission considering it was used in the background of a TV show but never actually featured on a “soundtrack”. Katy Perry: I really like this song and it gives me a lot of positive nostalgia, but ugh some of you really thought these loophole submissions would be cute when they’re NOT. Like yes it’s technically on a soundtrack but… you had other options ma’am. Britney Spears: Literally one of the best pop songs of all time. This submission’s lowkey also loopholed, but at least this one was actually featured on proper movie soundtracks, so you get more of a pass than the others. Hyuna: This song is so cute! Normally I’m not a huge fan of bubblegum pop (no pun intended nnn), but this is a fun and enjoyable song. This lowkey doesn’t really meet the round theme, but I’ll cut you some slack because I feel like you didn’t really have any other options. Alicia Keys: Omg FINALLY another song that’s actually a real movie soundtrack song. This is a nice song and the different sonic changes throughout were cool. I think this could have been a bit shorter, but overall good entry! Janelle Monae: This is cute, although it never really rises beyond just being cute. That being said, thank you for not annoying me and actually submitting a proper soundtrack song. Fantasia: I like this, it’s a really nice slow jam and her voice is awesome on this. And it’s actually on a proper movie soundtrack! LOONA: Ooh this is a cute bop. Not a huge fan of the production in the chorus, but I really like the verses. Ellie Goulding: Ahhhh yes a fantastic song and a REAL MOVIE SOUNDTRACK SONG. Nailed it. Kelly Clarkson: Oh my god, this just gave me so much nostalgia not just because of the song itself but also because of how it was used to promote the movie. Great song that tackles the theme directly, excellent choice. Spoiler @EriKills @Touch It @boys @PinkBox @Dessy@kiiwii @thecptz @Not Like The Movies @touya kinomoto @Alena @Legend E @K$Ellie @A Public Affair @Clueless Some of you thought you did something trying to loophole your way through this theme. I was nawt impressed and my scores WILL reflect.
A Public Affair Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 So far so good I'm still super nervous though
