When the song is taken at literal face value, which every other song was judged on, it's about a guy who owns a sporting goods store. Things are tense at home, so he opens the store early and shoots clay with his staff before opening to the public. The song was ACTUALLY written from the perspective of someone who unknowingly sells a gun to a mass shooter (the Aramoana killer) and how that day felt so NORMAL to him. It's supposed to have a bit of eeriness to how casual everything seems, but the narrator never goes off the beaten path and he certainly doesn't KILL anyone. Just some future advice, because you don't have the ability to really give an explanation, you have to ensure that your song can be understood by everyone. Interpretations are bound to happen, but it doesn't always match your interpretation. It's something that I learned when I played this game ages ago.
