Every pre-merge round during the challenge results, we will announce the averages/rankings of the entire cast. The top half of the cast for that specific round will then be able to search the grid. 

Please post your choice in the thread with the corresponding letter and number of the spot you wish to search. If I wanted to search the square at the top left of the entire grid, for example, I would post "A1" in the thread. All guesses must be done publicly, and once you choose your square for the round, you can not edit/change your pick. It is final and it is first come first serve. If someone steals the space you wanted, then unfortunately you will have to pick a different one. If you find something among the stars, the hosts will private message you. After the guesses are done, we will usually post something along the lines of "all items for this round have been distributed" in the thread -- if you have not received a PM at that point, it means your guess was unsuccessful. 

The grid will be continuously updated with marks on each previously chosen space and the guessing will begin again on the open spaces. 

 

All that being said, the top 8 contestants from round four will now have an opportunity to search the galaxy...

These liberal judges getting upset because the narrator in my song owns a gun.  Maybe if he relieved stress by going on Grindr to discreetly cheat on his wife instead of clay shooting, it would have been more palatable for this panel.

Just like every other song in this round, including the example, that is fully up for interpretation. When the song is taken at literal face value, which every other song was judged on, it's about a guy who owns a sporting goods store. Things are tense at home, so he opens the store early and shoots clay with his staff before opening to the public. The song was ACTUALLY written from the perspective of someone who unknowingly sells a gun to a mass shooter (the Aramoana killer) and how that day felt so NORMAL to him.  It's supposed to have a bit of eeriness to how casual everything seems, but the narrator never goes off the beaten path and he certainly doesn't KILL anyone.
