URBAN - 10 If this rounds theme needed an example song other than the one that was given, this would be it. kipperskipper - 10 Ooop this is perfect. Such a mundane song about mundanity of life. thecptz - 10 Grandpa did that x this is so on point tbh. I could see all of this happening in our real lives, just another normal day. Moreover, the song is so boring lmao. Amazing job grandpa! I love you! EriKills - Bruce Springstreen - Factory prézli - 8 Eh… So-so. The song didn’t focus on the day properly because the message of the song is that how these men work hard to take care of their families and become devilish from the hard work at the end of the day (“Somebody's gonna get hurt tonight”). URBAN - 8.5 This song put me in such a relaxed mood lol! Ok, so I agree with the overall consensus, it mainly focuses on the working men, but it still gets the point across. There’s one like that stuck out (this is just a random thought), “factory takes his hearing, factory gives him life” I felt this **** lol. Work can be so draining at times whether it’s physically or mentally, but we all got bills to pay. kipperskipper - 8 This is good, it’s about going to work over and over and how institutionalized we become from it. I agree that it is not too relatable however, but the point gets across nonetheless. thecptz - 8.5 **** you fat erik! While it may not be relatable to like everyone, it is still great and fits the theme. Alena - The Kinks - Nine to Five prézli - 10 Hello. [2] URBAN - 10 Mess, these songs are making me sleepy af. The title itself was enough to guess this would be a perfect entry. kipperskipper - 10 Well hello! You snatched this song and snatched a crown with this. Keep it up! thecptz - 10 Oh wow, galatea you are slaying right now! Another old song! This is another amazing boring track that fits the theme and i can see everything happening in old people aka the working people’s lives (i’m a baby so yall old). Great job! Krazii - klaatu - A Routine Day prézli - 10 Hello. [3] URBAN - 10 Another boring song that fits the bill. kipperskipper - 10 The slayage from this team . I do smell a stunt on how these old crusty dusty songs are being picked, but who cares! thecptz - 10 God. i’m sure guero is the one finding these songs for yall since he’s so old. Anyway, this is another amazing track lmao. It’s just a normal day and a boring life. The line ‘the life i lead would make a dead man yawn’ makes me scream and have to give this a 10. Stop slaying galatea! Not Like the Movies - The Bangles - Manic Monday prézli - 8.5 We love a classic! My only problem with this song is that it’s fun (“I was just in the middle of a dream / I was kissin' Valentino / By a crystal blue Italian stream” oh wow, gurlll) and doesn’t sound dull at all. (Okay, it’s not a proper banger, but still.) URBAN - 8.5 Well the first few seconds woke me up. This lowkey bops, so it’s not quite the fit. Still gets the message across, so kudos. kipperskipper - 10 This is the first song i thot of when I saw the round. So kudos to you for snatching this song!! Great minds think alike ;) thecptz - 9 AHHHHH a dreadful mondays! So relatable but don’t get me wrong, this is a great entry. The only reason i gave it a 9 is because it is not as boring as other songs that got a 10 from me. Apart from that, you did well. Gateau - Emmylou Harris - Millworker prézli - 8.5 I agree with kipperskipper. There’s something much deeper in this than being just an average job. She’s like a slave for the job that ruins her life. However, this all belongs to her every days, so that’s how it fits the theme well. URBAN - 9 I need coffee cuz these songs are about to knock me tf out. I had to go back like 3 times to digest the song. It’s lowkey sad though, damn. kipperskipper - 9 Hmm i feel like there is a much deeper meaning than it being a surface level song about a boring job. I get the sense that she is talking about her “self” and her body when she says “And it's me and my machine for the rest of the morning. For the rest of the afternoon, for the rest of my life”. I feel like this song is about her wasted potential and capabilities that she poses. I.e. But it's my life has been wasted and I've been the fool, To let this manufacturer use my body for a tool. To me this song is more about being used rather than going through the every day life. thecptz - 9 Whew. another old and great track for this round. This is so boring tbh so you did well. I felt sad for her while listening to the song :’( poor thing. boys - Kero Kero Bonito - Dump prézli - 6.5 It has a big city vibe as how cities work on daily basis. (The recycling part is very _interesting_.) There are other parts that fit the theme perfectly (e.g. “So when they let us in at 6 A.M / The spaces are empty again”), but they’re not enough to fulfill the requirements of the round and this entry is kind of messy, to be honest. URBAN - 8 This was very different, but it works imo, lol. Very descriptive and the overall sound is quite intriguing. kipperskipper - 6 I just don’t think it fits the theme much. There are so many other songs that out classed this. thecptz - 10 While others go for an old af songs, you go for a 2018 songs. And while others go for the normal working day life, you go for a trash day! LMAO! I love how you kinda go with a different route from other people and it still fits the round. This is so normal. The additional sound at the end really makes this more amazing for this round whew. Anthem - The Mutton Birds - A Thing Well Made prézli - 5 A thing might be well made, but it’s not that thing. It’s the weakest entry in this tribe because looking at the lyrical content, I don’t understand how a day works for him. Maybe the last verse fits, but the way he stans for guns all over the track, yikes... URBAN - 6 kipperskipper - 6 I am confusion. This song is about lusting over guns? Str8s wylin thecptz - 6 Um...well… i really am sorry for having to give you a 6.5. The song talks about a shooting and that is not the thing that happens in our daily lives. Mess. the first two verses are great and the song is boring but then when he mentions about the man holding gun... chile.

I mean, it’s not bad, it’s rather interesting. But he describes the surroundings well, so here are your points. And the metaphor in this song. I’m shook. Clueless - Radiohead - Fitter Happier prézli - 6 After a long strike of slaying, I expected more from you. It feels like you’re stuck into the last round’s task with willingness of change on life. I agree with thecptz, it’s only about what he wants to do with his life on daily basis, but it’s not how it actually happens for him. URBAN - 6.5 LOL, the first few seconds reminded me of the Demi Lovato “she spoke in whale to me” video. This was eery, but I agree with the other judges when they say it mostly focuses on what he wants to do with his life on the daily, but not how it happens. kipperskipper - 6.5 Siri snapped. This is really creepy and makes me uncomfies. But I like that it is a positive spin on the mundane tasks we go through in life. It’s meh (lyrically) and sonically it is something i dont wanna hear again. thecptz - 6.5 Ok but this is scary af. I’m scared now omg i don’t want to listen to this ever again. Even though it mentions things that can happen in our daily lives, with the use of ‘will’, it makes me think that its just like a checklist for what he wants to do. Staryu - Kris Kristofferson - Sunday Morning Coming Down prézli - 8.5 Thank God that you made the last round and could send in an entry like this. However, I’m not a big fan of it because it’s one of those non-average days when he sobers up. But I believe it’s not the first and last time this happens with him, so I get what you meant with this entry and take it. URBAN - 9 Beer for breakfast and dessert, ok. This is a great entry! He takes us every step of the way of his daily activities. He needs some help though. kipperskipper - 9 I think he needs to go to an AA meeting or sumn cuz this is about his drug and alchohol problems. But otherwise, it is great! It would be perfect, but the fact that he keeps talking about how he wishes he was stoned just to get through the day is a little too dark for the everyday person. thecptz - 10 Oh wow i’m glad to see you’re slaying again. Cute, but not the best entry for this round bebe. kipperskipper - 3 Idk if you read the prompt all the way because it specifically said not to send in a song about love….. thecptz - 4 Well… you sent in a song about love while the round said ‘the lyrics should not be about love in any way’. i think the riding in your car line is the one that kinda fits the theme but yeah, you’re brave. moonlightbae - Courtney Barnett - Depreston prézli - 9 It’s okay. I don’t quite see it as an average day (I mean, people don’t look for a house every day), but the sonical content adds a lot to it and makes it super dull. URBAN - 9.5 This song fits the theme pretty darn well. Although on the boring side, I actually enjoyed it. kipperskipper - 9 Super boring! Congrats!!
