Even though element has rigged this game against me, I will fight and conquer through this horrible time in my life. I’m sorry to all my fans that have to see me be at this low point of my life but don’t worry guys I will rise.

It’s technically about Robbie’s bipolar disorder, but when I personally get depressed, those are the exact symptoms that show up for me. After every line where he seems hopeful, he quickly follows it up with a thought that completely kills it and pushes him back into his dark place. “I sit and talk to God/And he just laughs at my plans” Even his religion, which people can often find solace in due to how interpretive it is all is, seems to think he’s unworthy of achieving anything beyond this miserable state he’s found himself on. I could not have fulfilled that “they don’t want to be depressed, but they can’t seem to find a way out” box more! Maybe if the delivery was better, like with Sia who is good at giving sorrowful cracked voice vocals, it would have been received better. I mean - I still averaged an okay score, and my tribe is safe.. but I’m bitter nonetheless!
