CELLOPHANE - FKA TWIGS twigs went through a break with a sh*te man who doesn't deserve the greatness that is twigs certain actor from a certain franchise with a tired fanbase that hurled racist messages at her, removing several fibroid tumors from her uterus and took all of the emotions from those experiences over the course of four years to come back with the greatest single, music videos and album of 2019. cellophane, the closer of magdalene, explores the confusion of unrequited love, a reflection of the relationship as a whole before the gut wrenching final lines hits you, "they're waiting...and hoping, i'm not enough". i don't know about you guys but the thought of putting your all in a relationship just to have multiple groups of people praying on your downfall is one thing but when your lover seemingly gives in to those voices, now that is some foul sh*t and brought tears to my eyes when everything clicked. #TWIGSWON2019
