worldwide angel Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 AT NUMBER SIXTEEN WE HAVE THE PROMOTIONAL SINGLE FROM THESE TWO 2013 DEBUTING GODDESSESS... #16 - CROSS YOU OUT (FEAT. SKY FERREIRA) - CHARLI XCX this is really one of my favorite charli era moments. its sounds like something they could have done in 2013 but at the same time its so fresh to me. also i love any moment of getting to hear sky's vocals because sis has been MIA but thank you so much for this serve charlotte
worldwide angel Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 AT FIFTEEN WE HAVE THIS SINGLE FROM THIS EUROPEAN SERVER #15 - BALANCE TON QUOI - ANGELE idk why there isn't a single cover for this but idc brol is a fantastic album and balance ton quoi is a socially conscious serve from the queen (take notes katy <3), the chorus is incredible oui oui, elle est la reine (du Belgique) !
worldwide angel Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 AT NUMBER FOURTEEN WE HAVE THIS PORTUGUESE HYMN #14 - TELEMOVEIS - CONAN OSIRIS one of my mutuals from twitter (the superior gathering of stans) recommended this song to me and its really beautiful i know the song title translates to cellphones or sumn but i love his voice and the interesting production the rosaliaprint
worldwide angel Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 NUMBER THIRTEEN GOES TO #13 - DOWNHILL LULLABY - SKY FERREIRA sky came back....and left again but she did feed us with an excellent single that picks up where night time, my time leaves off. it does remind me of ultraviolence era lana but i feel like thats a part of the reason why i enjoy it so much. this single proves sky still got it.
worldwide angel Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 NUMBER TWELVE IS THE SINGLE THAT KICKED OFF THIS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED RELEASE #12 - DIE A LITTLE BIT (FEAT. MS. BANKS) - TINASHE after being freed from the hellhole rca, tinashe stuns with her lead single. the house influences, the sample (which i love btw) and her voice alongside the ms. banks feature. this was the best single to kick of a new era of an independent tinashe.
worldwide angel Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 NUMBER ELEVEN GOES TO THE "SADDEST GIRL IN SWEDEN #11 - GLAD HE'S GONE - TOVE LO after it taking several months for me to get into blue lips, i'm happy that tove released a song that i am obsessed with. the strings, the production, the grammy nominated music video. tove ate the girls up per usual and i had to recognize ha!

BlackoutZone Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 Croos You Out, Downhill, Glad He's Gone - these mega bitches
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 13, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 13, 2019 cross you out downhill lullaby a bit too high die a little bit, glad he's gone serves
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 14, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 14, 2019 DALB is sooooo good. Love DL and CYO, sky did that this year! Two songs!
smholiv Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Die A Little Bit was bop, glad to see her making cool music that she wants tbh Cross You Out was a favourite of mine from that album!
worldwide angel Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 NUMBER TEN GOES TO... #10 - THE GREATEST - LANA DEL REY lana really ate the girls up with this entire album but the greatest???? people sang this at weddings, graduations, funerals. this single touched me: the delivery, the reminiscing of old times, the ending where all of her issues are seemingly discarded in favor of an upcoming livestream
worldwide angel Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 NUMBER NINE IS THIS SINGLE FROM A PHENOMENAL ALBUM #9 - ANDROMEDA - WEYES BLOOD from the impeccable 'titanic rising', i chose the lead single to rever, mainly because of lyrics dealing with the topic of wavering faith, something that has marked my adolescence. i was genuinely appreciative of a song that didn't address normal topics such as love or heartbreak, etc. the production is a nice, semi-futuristic take on 70s singer-songwriter production and her vocals act as a smooth layer over the instrumental.
worldwide angel Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 NUMBER EIGHT IS FROM THIS STAPLE INDIE POP GIRL'S DEBUT ALBUM #8 - DOOR - CAROLINE POLACHEK door, the lead single off of the great but overrated 'pang' might have been one of the greatest if not the greatest introduction to a solo artist this year. i really appreciate caroline for taking the sound pc music built upon over the years and toned it down, turning away from the bombastic bangers that peers such as charli xcx would find herself releasing. door is just as catchy and captivating but it's also mellow and there's a beauty to the vocals and production.
worldwide angel Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 NUMBER SEVEN GOES TO THIS SINGLE FROM FRANCE'S CURRENT REIGNING QUEEN #7 - POOKIE - AYA NAKAMURA the subject of the song, due to the french slang that fits aya perfectly, may have listeners both french and intl. confused yet aya delivers another afrobeats bop with pookie. she brings the energy, the effortless bad bitch attitude and catchy lyrics over a thumping beat. who could even think about hating or skipping this track?
worldwide angel Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 NUMBER SIX IS A SINGLE FROM THE BEST EP OF 2019 #6 - ALL NIGHT - BREE RUNWAY bree really stuns on this track. everything on this single is perfect. the smooth vocals, the fresh r&b influenced production. this may not be a banger as some would like but all night is THAT song to get hooked onto after one or two listens. all i really have to say is... #BREERUNWAY2020
worldwide angel Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 NUMBER FIVE GOES TO THE TRUE ARTIST OF THE DECADE... #5 - SAD DAY - FKA TWIGS twigs is just the queen that keeps on delivering and even if i wanted to fill the top five with all of her singles which i would love to it would be entirely unfair and a little biased to do so. sad day was instantly one of my favorite singles off of the album, "would you make a make a make a wish on my love"...classic!
