worldwide angel Posted December 8, 2019 Author Posted December 8, 2019 AT NUMBER FOUR WE HAVE... #4 - HI IT'S ME - ASHNIKKO before listening to this ep, i thought ashnikko was a bit grimes'd however after getting familiar with her work, i can proudly say that i think ashnikko has the potential to be one of the most interesting female rappers in the next decade... feed us the rico collab
worldwide angel Posted December 8, 2019 Author Posted December 8, 2019 AT NUMBER THREE, I AM PROUD TO SAY I WOULD BOTTOM FOR... #3 - HI THIS IS FLUME - FLUME this mixtape was the definition of sickening, the production, the collabs, the visualizer. i am so happy that he got a grammy nom from this and i will be rooting for him. if you like experimental electronic infused "pop" a la sophie (who's featured), i recommend this to you all x
worldwide angel Posted December 8, 2019 Author Posted December 8, 2019 COLD OR HOT, THIS QUEEN IS COMING IN AT NUMBER TWO #2 - FEVER - MEGAN THEE STALLION i am so pissed we didn't get the movie accompanying the album but this is probably one of the best rap projects to have been released. the lyricism, the individuality, megan is one of the most refreshing rappers period and i wish for nothing but the best for this queen
worldwide angel Posted December 8, 2019 Author Posted December 8, 2019 THE NUMBER ONE EP OF THE YEAR FROM YOURS TRULY IS... #1 - BE RUNWAY - BREE RUNWAY now this, this ep alone is worthy of a "future of pop" title. the eclecticism of the ep, her flow, her vocals, the issues that the songs tackle (for example big racks and its accompanying music video discussing racism in the economic sphere, the forward thinking instrumentals. bree runway deserves to be the next big thing and even if she won't be, she deserves everyone's attention! to all of the monsters here, bree is a huge gaga stan so support a fellow talented monster #PAWSUP
Alex Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 taste on this top 4! love ashnikko’s EP (every song is amazing) haven’t had the chance to listen to the flume mixtape in full but I like the SOPHIE track Megan I’ve only listened to Big Racks and Bree’s collab on Sexorcism, maybe I’ll listen to the rest of the EP

theblackestday Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 A talented top 3! I think Flume’s mixtape was bit overlooked which is unfortunate because it slaps. It was unexpected to me and I stan that production work Bree is quite the talent, I love how eclectic the EP is and every song is at least good! Gotta give that ASHNIKKO lady a listen. Will listen to her EP now
BlackoutZone Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Flume served a bit, I need to come back to it though
Eeveelution Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 redux is so good, even better than mothe need to listen to bree runway at some point.

worldwide angel Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 IT'S NOW TIME FOR THE... BUT FIRST HERE ARE SOME HONORABLE MENTIONS!
BlackoutZone Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Tonight gettin a mention, SERVE Loving a lot of these tbh, shocked at Medellin
mokitsu Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Jacques does this mean Beef flom#1x will be on the main list tho?

worldwide angel Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 AT NUMBER TWENTY WE HAVE... #20 - HOOKAH - BAD GYAL i am so proud of her making it in spain with "alocao" however i would have preferred if this release also topped the spanish charts. this single has a catchy flow, refreshing production and a club energy that puts charli and slayyyter to shame. she just radiates a similar energy as rihanna effortlessly and its best displayed in this single.
worldwide angel Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 NUMBER NINETEEN GOES TO... #19 - LATE NIGHT FEELINGS (FEAT. LYKKE LI) - MARK RONSON i can not understand how this single wasn't bigger. this is disco perfection with mark holding it down with the production while lykke li brings in her trademark melancholic vocal performance, making one of the most remarkable earworms in 2019
worldwide angel Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 NUMBER EIGHTEEN IS THIS GROOVY TRACK FRIM #18 - STOMP AND GRIND (FEAT. RICO NASTY) - GRANDMA now this track pulled me in because of rico nasty's energetic verse but i stayed due to the infectious chorus and the instrumentals. while i will say the track does plateau following rico's verse, it is still a highlight of 2019 worth recognizing
worldwide angel Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) NUMBER SEVENTEEN IS THIS SINGLE #17 - SOLDI - MAHMOOD it is safe to say that it took me a while to jump on the mahmood train but i am so glad i did. i am a sucker for southern european pop/r&b music these days (which will be seen later) and mahmood provides us with a beautiful hit single with arabic influences, the best part of the song i may add Edited December 9, 2019 by worldwide angel
