jose168 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Magdalene and Gone were both iconic outputs this year. Absolutely solid picks
Ewan Chaos Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Yes Charli/Twiggy, yes talent! Great Charli picks, though I don't really like Warm. Glad Gone got the little shout out there. buwugf, not my fave Ari song tbh! And Glad He's Done was def my leave fave single from Sunshine Kitty. AH WELL!
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 23, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 23, 2019 Charli Glad to see someone else stanning it. Why Gone for the top pick tho?
Kiss It Better Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Glad He's Gone and Gone, pop perfections
geodancefreak Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 It's so refreshing to finally see some love for Dido! That was a great album!
theblackestday Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 BUWYG,IB and Gone did that MAGDALENE!!! Should've been #1 regardless of being released late into the year, you know it's what she deserves!
TheWayWeWere Posted December 23, 2019 Author Posted December 23, 2019 the last update before top 3 reveal I feel like I'm going to be dragged album #5 - Tove Lo, Sunshine Kitty "I'm just a memory of good times, she's not mine" With her 4th studio effort Tove basically proves that she can serve pop quality even with her weakest record. Yeah, album just not on the same level as her previous ones, but even there she's just unstoppable. Pop perfection, infectious dance bops, sexy lyrics and relatable gems - all can be found on Sunshine Kitty. some favorites: Anywhere U Go, Stay Over, Come Undone, Are U gonna tell her? single #5 - Billie Eilish, bad guy "You said she's scared of me?" Yeah, Billie catches my attention with her dark-pop records like Bury a Friend or Crown, but I just can't deny how good this track Like, it's just awesome catchy with fun sound, memorable lyrics and everything. She served with MV too And that outro scalpes a bit I'm glad this song finds its success. album #4 - Lana Del Rey, Norman ****ing Rockwell! "Godamn, man child, you ****ed me so good that I almost said, "I love you"" And another artist who just can't do something wrong. Like, even tho she served one of the best songs this decade with Venice Bitch last year, who expected her to release her magnum opus 8 years into career Incredibly beautiful, dramatic and deep record, which basically compiles all styles she's best at. some favorites: Norman ****ing Rockwell, Venice Bitch, The Greatest, **** It I Love You, California single #4 - FKA twigs, cellophane "And didn't I do it for you?" Just 4 words: I can hear God.
Mark Rih Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Kim's Singles Collection so many bops in there Sunshine Kitty Quote her weakest record tea! still a cute album tho
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted December 23, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 23, 2019 (edited) Doin' Time is my favorite song of NFR. I also enjoyed the album but I prefer Lust for Life Edited December 23, 2019 by kelly-clarkson
ARTPØP Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Now That I Found You, Lover, Gone, Glad He's Gone, Bad Guy Sunshine Kitty, Charli & Sucker Punch Can't wait to see your top 3 !!!!!
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 23, 2019 ATRL Moderator Posted December 23, 2019 sunshine kitty talent. anywhere u go is such a grower. bad guy talent NFR an album whew. Cellophane a song
Green Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Bad Guy is one of the defining songs of 2019 Norman ****ing Rockwell is amazing The Greatest, NFR (song) are some of my favorite songs of the album too.
Jet Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Didn't really care for Bad Guy before but since it blew up I've come to like it quite a bit
potent Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Bad Guy is a bop, but Bury a Friend is better imo Cellophane a masterpiece NFR too
Remmy Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Albums~ Lana's album has some good moments but I was mostly underwhelmed overall. Sunshine Kitty is nice Oop at Era 1 making it on here Fun! Hillside Boys, Heart to Break, IDWIAA, Anywhere U Go, Stay Over, Come Undone and NFR || Singles~ Gone and Glad He's Gone, 2 amazing growers that should've hit me instantly but I'm not blaming them. bad guy A major bop of course.
