?? Not really. Only the #1 is low compared to previous years.

Just noticed UMG´s market dominance, 55% :rip:

Truly the Disney of the music industry

1. Hollywoods Bleeding (released Sept 2019)
6. BB&B (released April 2018)
31. Stoney (released December 2016)

:jonny5: i think BB&B and Stoney should both be eligible for 4xPlat and HB currenly 2xPlat and still moving 80k+/weekly (so basically another 4xPlat in the long run) :duca:

Low numbers.

25, Views, ANTI, Lemonade, Purpose can't relate from 2016.

But they'll always be necessary for artists to build a fan base

Taylor doing the same single sales as Ariana despite being in her flop era:worship:

also lovers streams are doing really decent compared to what everyone thought she’d do, I wonder if she can get to 1.3ish before the year is over

Only 13 albums that did over 1M and 2 albums over 2M.  :lmao:

WITH streaming.  I guess the content this year just wasn't what the GP wanted.

why are you trying to drag a top 10 soundtrack released last year

and you're just asking for Ari to get dragged because of the Charlie's Angels soundtrack performance, so please drop it :doc:

The soundtrack was released at the end of last year and was heavily promoted in 2019. It also had more months to accumulate points but looks like it couldn't keep up with MemePG Ariane Big's meme album TUN?

That soundtrack is not hers and not in anyway comparable to ASIB. Give it up :heart2:

What do y'all remember cause the numbers have actually been pretty similar...

2019 will end up pretty similar to 2018. Only the #1 is gonna be low compared to past standards.

A market like UK has numbers that are actually getting considerably lower -- probably due to their idiotic streaming weighing with albums.

No albums aren’t dying lol. More like album sales are dying/dead bc of streaming conversions, but actual albums seem healthy to me
