The thing that the Monsters don't realize is that using that formula basically all the main popgirls who had huge peaks during the digital era will be doing 300m+. I wouldn't be surprised if Drake and Rihanna are over 500m+.

Yeah, Rihanna is at nearly 600m in song consumption alone But her label added her streams to her album sales instead of her song sales (as they should) when they updated her figures in 2016 (60m albums & 215m tracks).

Album Pure Sales: 34M Pure Song Sales: 127M Pure Song Streams: 18B Streams or 122M equivalent. Adding Album sales and streams only without the digital song sales is not the representation of SPS.. It's either ~60M SPS (Total Consumption) or 34M Pure Album Sales and 249M (Song Sales) although i hate labels for assuming Video Streams = Audio Streams.. with the video streams adjusted, it should be: 34M Pure Album Sales & 210M Song Sales Eq.

I dont have time for that. A little jab here and there does not mean someones a hater lol. And yes I do agree with you. But still streaming overall paid or free to me is a mess in itself. Cause it makes certain artists seem bigger than they actually are...
