Critiques:

#Beyonce: I think this was a cute bop. This sounded very old Beyonce like (kind of miss that Beyonce) and it was good even though it was a bit repetitive in some parts. Nonetheless, good song to submit.

 

#ChristinaAguilera: I think the song started eh but as it hit the chorus, the song was good. The rest of the song maintained the consistency – quality wise. Her vocals were great, not too many high/screaming notes definitively made the song be listenable and beautiful. 

 

#DemiLovato: I think Daddy Issues is one of the better songs from its parent album. I think it’s the pre-chorus or a before that, but that part is not my favorite part. IMO this sounds a bit different from anything I’ve heard from her. 

 

#KatyPerry: Well this is a first and last I think. I didn’t really like it /: something about the lyrics or delivery just didn’t catch my attention. I wish there would have been a better choice but I guess not. Maybe it’s just Witness Katy. 

 

#JessieJ: This was a cute bop. Nothing too special but nothing horrible, kind of in the middle of the pack. 

 

#KeyshiaCole: As always Ms. Keyshia Cole is delivering. The lyrics were amazing as usual. The one part that I did not like is that this song kind of sounds like songs that have been submitted for her. Although I know it was a new submission, it felt like I’ve heard it already. 

 

#LadyGaga: This is honestly not her best song. I would have thought that there were better options. I can’t exactly point at what exactly makes me not be a fan but its there. Maybe because its from the aunt album, but still fit the category. 

 

#LanaDelRey: This song was so pretty and heavenly. I am actually surprised at how much I liked this song, not just for this round but overall. 

 

#MansZelmerlow: I liked this song, it was very laid back. His vocals definitively shined. I keep saying this but the simpler the production is, the better. It also had a cute message! 

 

#MariahCarey: I’m a little underwhelmed by the submission tbh, I was expecting a bit better. Great vocals as usual but a little boring in my opinion.  

 

#Queen: This was amazing. Beautiful vocals and the harmonies were the highlight of this entry. As soon as the first line was sung, my attention was caught. Cute song to say the very least. 

 

#TaylorSwift: LOVED the intro, unfortunately, I think that was the best part. I wasn’t a huge fan of her delivery on parts of the song. It’s goodish but that killed it for me. 

 

#TheWeeknd: I liked it. It was very laid back with a relatable message. Not much to say but good job! 

 

#ZaraLarsson: Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
