It's not even top 50 Well it would have been Top 50+ without the Taylor tracks debuting above her. That's probably why they made the exception.

MusicLoverDude Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Ariana and Taylor both having their entire albums debut on the Hot 100

They dont let old songs that never charted, chart unless it goes top 50. They consider iit recurrent. They did the same to Baby Shark
BabyCantYouSee Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Lizzo Hopefully Good as Hell becomes a big hit as well

Now it has 3 weeks at #2 and a week at #1. 2 hours ago, halcyonday said: Dissapointing numbers for Taylor Having 18 songs in the top 100 and the biggest album sales week since her own Reputation is disappointing? You do know as streaming continues to take over in the music industry overall sales plummets more each year, right? With this change in tides album track success has been going up, hence why she has 18 songs charting this week. Good thing Taylor gets the last laugh as streaming has increased music industry revenue over traditional sales.

taustin13 Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I know I am super late on this but let me be clear. Taylor's pure sales dropped from 1.2 million to 670,000 from Reputation to Lover ?

Taylor's pure sales dropped from 1.2 million to 670,000 from Reputation to Lover ? Yes, but this reflects much more on the market's condition rather than Taylor herself. For example, in both of their respective weeks, the albums occupied a similar market share (29 and 27 percent) of the whole album sales market in the country. People who try to mock her for the Lover numbers are not only extremely ignorant, but also show how little they know about the music market nowadays.

Still impressive pure sales.
