Yet we all know hes MUCH bigger than her right now Taylor is bigger in album sales by an enormous margin, bigger in single sales, bigger in touring and she’s almost as big in streaming clearly by these amazing numbers. That advantage isn’t a dishonest misrepresentation of her commercial power, but a testament to how big she still is, and the historic commercial force she represents in US music history. She might not be as big in streaming, which might indeed be the biggest consumption format in 2019 on aggregate - but when you’re selling that many physical copies and your total consumption is so astronomically high, it doesn’t really matter if you haven’t fully adapted to streaming yet.
