11k dafuq.  Whats wrong with y’all?  Monsters bought a Jazz collab with a senior citizen and none of you want to buy The Gift?  :deadbanana4:

Lady gaga could never. Solo produced soundtrack broke streaming on spotify first week. #2 debut with no promo. Gaga had to beg people to steam ASIB soundtrack.

Seems like people jumped the gun at #4 and are throwing tantrums about Hive backtracking.

All because they're upset their faves got dragged for flopping in the past.

If these are the sales and streams for the debut week, I don’t want to even predict  next weeks drop.

A streak for studio albums remains intact as expected.

Did you not read the OP? Beyonce is credited on 10 of the 14 tracks. That’s over 70%, sis. This is Beyonce’s third album in a row to miss the #1 debut.

Technically, she failed to match Britney’s #1 studio album debuts in a row (Blackout was retroactively made a #2 after a rule change after it was announced as a #1 debut). It was never Beyonce’s record :clap3:

The threads about it being 3 and 4 :oh:

They probably didn’t account for the fake TIDAL streams. Imagine cheating and still pulling less than 60k :shakeno:

OT-At least it got #2 but still terrible #s.

I have avoided all these threads this week because I'm a fan of Gaga and Bey, but it is quite hypocritical that a bunch of the Hive were claiming ASIB's success was nothing impressive because soundtrack albums ALWAYS sell and yet here we are with them claiming a 54k debut off of a film that's headed to do 1.5 billion(500 domestic or so) worldwide is not an underperformance and it's also completely expected.

11k is so measly :rip:  it’s like the movie didn’t help at all

But ATRL told me soundtracks always do well when a movie does well.

The record you are referring to and the BeyHive is talking about is studio albums, which like I said, remains intact.

As for the last part, send Billboard an email and see if they will consider giving Brit the #1.

The set, which is billed to Beyoncé & Various Artists, boasts Queen Bey performing on 10 of the album’s 14 songs.

Never mind, guess she still has the record after all :eli:

It IS Beyoncé's record and nothing you say is going to change that fact

Low numbers, but not surprising. The reality is, sometimes you lose.
