This is really good. The outfit and the hair are very faerie fantasy. Her pose gives me the elegant vibe that I want. I would have loved to see a little more vibrant color in this to bring it up to the top of the pack. Psycho - Lady Gaga Spoiler I chose this shot because it gives me fairy princess posing in ha luxurious house full of beautiful flowers vibes x CRITIQUE: Spoiler Element: Psycho From an objective, check the box standpoint, I think this image accomplishes what we asked for. The outfit, the unique colors, and the floral arrangement are strong. However, what holds this back from this round’s higher scoring entries is the lack of ethereal quality. Her rigid pose does not provide the delicate, magical element that would make this a top scorer. Queen Conchita - Conchiita Wurst Spoiler I chose this shot because it reminds me of a modern day version of Sissi, the Empress of Austria with Conchita in a magical space he created where he could be himself, dream his dreams and plan his escape. CRITIQUE: Spoiler Element: Queen Conchita The setting of this image is quite interesting. I’m trying to process it all… like how do you classify it? A glamour shot? A fortune teller? Backstage at Cirque de Soleil? The only thing is that I’m not sure it’s 100% fairytale. The overall colorization is not really ethereal and there’s no real nature to go off, but the candles and lighting add to the slight fantasy vibe going on. Overall, I think you did well enough for your artist but this falls into the weaker end of the submissions this round. xoxo
