Dubstep is laidback, minimalistic, trippy, and somewhat Jamaican sounding. Trap is a fusion of electro-house, brostep, and pop rap music...it is loud, glitchy, commercialized rap music. Dubstep has a higher bpm (140) and sounds more electronic. Trap is more about the rythem and the bass.

I'll give higher scores to songs who sticks on the assigned genre, if a song displays more than 1 genre, its a no maam for me xoxo

and ofcourse, I still use our panel's judging matrix

EDM is more popular now so it is easier to find tracks from ur team...Techno vs Electro too... thats why i allowed fanmade remixes for those coz it is hard to differentiate them and harder to narrow down
