Pink Matter Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Hatchie and Ravyn punched with their EPs Can't wait for full length albums from them. St. Beauty was cute. Was curious about AlunaGeorge in 2018. I'll download their EP.
TayRianaPH Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Hi sweetie! Great list so far! ? My Top 3 picks on the set: 3. - 2. - 1. I only know AlunaGeorge. And the songs slay! I would want to discover more tho! See you on my Best Of too.
World Eater Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I hope Junglepussy gets bigger, she deserves it Caution, S&S, Crush and Sink all slayed me, whew!
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted December 28, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 I didn't listen 'Running To The Sun' in full but I liked Stone Mountain I need to check the EP!
TRF. Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 looooooove seeing Hatchie, Sudan Archives and Ravyn Lenae
TheWayWeWere Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Champagne Eyes was pretty solid EP nice to heard them back to form Hatchie and Ravyn
Dom Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Sink is the best and yet it's only 5th place, wtf, tsareena? hmmm. where is taste, hunny?
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 28, 2018 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 10 - 6 Quote ticks all the boxes for me, fun production, great voice, extremely catchy and when that chorus hits whew it hits hard Quote it slaps. I've missed Hana and this song does everything right. Poppy fuming over it also adds so much more Quote HOWWWW is this from 2016 and only just seeing the light of day. SOPHIE and Charli again. A duo I can never get tired of Quote the production takes me out every time. So grateful for the coochie that King Princess is eating daily that inspired this bop Quote we stan a meme that actually bops. Doja Cat killed the energy that was building around her but Mooo! was such a fun track
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 28, 2018 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 5 - 1 Quote My favorite track from Billie this year. The melody is so addicting and whew that production. A song Quote Normal Rockwell doesn't feel so far away with this out. Such a gorgeous journey. Her vocals, the production whew. Gorgeous!! Quote The kind of energy to start or end the year, month, day etc. with. I'm still mad it wasn't on Nasty but easily an inspirational classic for me Quote I've been worried about Normani's solo career and well "waves" killed all the doubts for me. I literally couldn't stop listening to this when it initially came out and just makes me soooo hyped for Normani's 2019. and for my no.1 . . . Quote While my no. 2 was on a potential new fave... my no. 1 goes to a washed up b- anyways. Treasure Island is such a track the journey whew... the rapped verses, the morphing production, the production... Azealia's struggle vocals , the bridge, the final chorus x2. it's like her entire discography in just one track. Fantasea 2 is never coming but the singles slay so I'll take that.

Blue Rose Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 I loved St Beauty. I was listening to them nonstop before the Janelle concert. They opened for her. Champagne Eyes was cute.
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 28, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 Smack a Bitch A classic timeless song
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted December 28, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 I didn't knew Normani released a new song I knew about her 2 songs with Calvin Harris but not this one. Just heard it and I really liked it
Eeveelution Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Venice Bitch. Girls Night Out is a bopT Treasure Island is a solid #1 tho I prefer Anna Wintour. ***** is God and BBH are both really good, the basic indie girls snapped a bit this year.
Remmy Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Waves is actually cute, and this is coming from a big 5H hater. The first song of hers I've cared about (as a lead artist.) Girls Night Out Glad she finally released it. bitches broken hearts A great bop, pretty underrated as well.
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 28, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 28, 2018 We Appreciate Power
theblackestday Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 HANA did what she had to do Venice Bitch making the top 5 wasn't expecting that, am proud Rico top 3 Smack a Bitch knocks An... interesting number one
kiiwii Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 hatchie and ariel beesley from your EPs not very familiar with your top 10 bops, but ima need to listen
potent Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Wow Venice Bitch charting high on many lists this year I have to listen to more of Billie's music, I love when the party's over.
lhdang2000 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 I don't know the other songs, but I listen to PIG, and I love it.
Sbbmsve Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Wow at GNO's acclaim on ATRL I didn't put it on my list just because it has leaked before Alunageorge's EP was cute. Definitely closer to Body Music than their second album. Body Music was such a perfect album, I hope they bring another one like that Quote SCREAM Your top 10 has great pop sings like WAP, Venice Bitch and Treause Island (I'm surprised that no one talks about this considering how catchy it was) but... Billie and Doja? Kinda homophobic but we stan. Looking forward to your album list.
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 29, 2018 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 29, 2018 25 - 21 Quote Starting out my top 25 albums with Doja Cat! Great debut album from Doja. I really like her delivery and flows on this. Very playful and enjoyable so I'm excited to see where she goes from here. The bops on this are so good and honestly I need more rap verses from her Serves: Cookie Jar, Wine Pon You, Down Low Quote Miya's voice is gorgeous on this and she effortlessly goes from fun pop songs like Freak Out to more serious tracks like Deadbody with neither feeling out of place. The production is pretty great and her lyrics are interesting and still easy to get into. Serves: Stop Talking, Dead Body, Cost Your Love Quote Such an amazing debut. Short and sweet and packed with amazing verses and lyrics showing Jean Deaux's versatility as an artist. the last few tracks are such massive bops. Kehlani's promo worked ❤️ Serves: Back 2 You, Code, Work 4 Me Quote A smart political pop record. Fun on the surface with serious lyrics and topics. Love the mix of genres from disco to rock. Serves: Velvet 4 Sale, M.A.H., Incidental Boogie Quote Great pop record. I really love the french melodies and the way the english ones still sound great. I initially thought I'd be deleting the french ones but they're all so good and there's really no weak tracks Serves: Comme Si, Goya Soda, Damn (what must a woman do)
