OP updated. This week was pretty calm and nothing special happened, only "Memories... Do Not Open" debuted at #10, but I expect it to fall out of Top 10 in the following weeks due to big drop after the debut.

So far:

- albums with 1 000 000 sales: 0

- albums with 500 000 sales: 1

- albums with 250 000 sales: 6

- albums with 100 000 sales: 27

This week:

- "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct" surpassed 900k mark and is now closer to sell 1M copies

- "24K Magic" reached 800k mark

- "Moana" soundtrack has now passed 500k

- "Beauty And The Beast" becomes 4th soundtrack to sell over 200k this year

Next week:

- "Hardwired...To Self-Destruct" will pass 400k mark

- "More Life" will become 5th album to sell 300k this year

- "La La Land" will reach 250k

Yeah it seems like it could potentially outsell "Trolls".

Yes, Moana's longevity is amazing, it outlasting Beauty and the Beast, 50 Shades Darker, La La Land and Trolls with ease

"La La Land" was pretty much done after Oscars, "50 Shades Darker" basically after first two weeks. So the only competition in terms of soundtracks are "Trolls" which sell still good amount of copies every week and "Beauty and the Beast" because it has been out for like month so we'll see about that in a few weeks.

Sorry for the late update, but I had a really rough week.

Anyways, great debut for Kendrick; "DAMN." should be #2 with the next update, only "Divide" will be ahead of him. We'll see how this battle will go with time.

So far:

- albums with 1 000 000 copies: 0

- albums with 500 000 copies: 1

- albums with 250 000 copies: 9

- albums with 100 000 copies: 29

This week:

- Metallica crossed 400k mark

- "More Like" surpassed 300k mark

Next week:

- "Divide" will be the first album to sell 600k this year

- "Memories... Do No Open" should cross 200k mark

- "4 Your Eyez Only" and maybe "The Breaker" will surpass 100k mark

Thank you so much for checkin' in! I'll update it. :date:

Also, to sum up some soundtrack's totals as I think it's quite interesting to see how the totals are changing:

Trolls: 586 387 sales

Moana: 537 112 sales

La La Land: 283 117 sales

Beauty And The Beast: 252 827 sales

Fifty Shades Darker: 133 984 sales

I think, "Moana" will surpass "Trolls" in a month or sooner.

OP updated. "DAMN." will reach gold status in pure sales the next week making Kendrick the fastest to do so this year: in three weeks!

Also, after long waiting, Keith finally made it to Top 20 with "Ricpord", making it the third album to be in Top 20!

- albums with 500 000 sales: 1

- albums with 250 000 sales: 9

- albums with 100 000 sales: 30

This week:

- The Chainsmokers crossed 200k mark

- Beyoncé's "Lemonade" surpassed 1 700 000 sales

Next week:

- As I said previously, "DAMN." will be the fastest album to reach 500k pure sales this year

- "Trolls" will cross 300k mark and 600k overall

- "NOW 61" compilation will be another 200k selling album

- Both "The Breaker" amd "The Weight Of These Wings" will cross 100k mark

Right now, I think Kendrick has a pretty solid chance at dethroning Ed and stay atop the list till Taylor, Eminem or Justin release their new stuff.

"Humanz" debuts at #28, "Strength Of A Woman" at #47.

So far:

- albums with 1 000 000 sales: 0

- albums with 500 000 sales: 1

- albums with 250 000 sales: 9

- albums with 100 000 sales: 33

Other notes:

- "Trolls", as expected, surpassed 300k mark for this year and 600k total

- "NOW 61" compilation is at 200k

- "Breaker" and "The Weight Of These Wings" both reached 100k sales

Nielsen did some adjustments to the albums sales chart for the week ending 27/04/2017, so the sales ended up being a bit higher. Adjusted cumulative sales for some of the albums are:

- DAMN. - 498,487

- Search For Everything - 141,018

Gaga could have been top 10 easily if she released more singles and performed more :biblio: Hopefully after the cure we will get more singles from Joanne.

She's been literally everywhere promoting "Million Reasons". I don't know where else she should do some promo unless do some major TV promo aka VMAs or AMAs.

For the last couple of weeks, Beyoncé is selling the most followed by Adele and Gaga is selling the least of them.

Chris Stapleton and Logic both had very nice debuts - Chris will be even Top 10 next week + Logic will surpass 200k pure sales which is very impressive. Also nice jump for "Guardians Of The Galaxy: Volume 2" soundtrack. It can go Top 10 eventually too for a couple of weeks.

So far:

- albums with 1 000 000 sales: 0

- albums with 500 000 sales: 2

- albums with 250 000 sales: 9

- albums with 100 000 sales: 38

Other notes:

"Moana" will surpass 600k pure sales next week.

"24K Magic" will be at 400k for this year and almost 900k overall.
