Absolutely awful debut for the LBYLM, which is surprising but it doens't seem to connect with any audience (very bad reception among young folks, but not so bad among older people). It could explain why it's struggling to reach Top 10 while doing very good on iTunes and Shazam.

 

"You" debuted decently, good debut, but I don't see a lot of future, what it's surprising is that while young folks don't like it (actually a very bad reception), it performed really amazing among older. In fact, it's doing very good on HAC considering the type of song it is.

 

Well, looks like any contender for Top 10 just performed mediocrity or bad.

I found out about this other company which also specializes in doing music research. AllAccess featured it, it's called Monday Morning Intel. I will keep an eye on it and see what info we could learn from that data. Something I like very much is that it offers a National Callout Countdown for all Top 50 titles (helpful when National Callouts posted by Mediabase take too long to debut), and it has its own "Power" chart which is based on Callouts, Sales, Streaming and Retention (listener Tune-In and Tune-Out).
