Callout scores clearly dont represent the GP anymore because Come & Go has been perched near the top for months and its updates are always horrid

Come & Go has been showing incredible longevity on the streaming charts tho, so there's def some appeal out there loving the song

What I meant was that we can't sit here and make Callout scores the end all be all. If that's what the GP really wanted to listen to, then why hasnt radio been willing to spin it a lot more? I dont doubt it is well received

The correlation hasnt been there for a while now.

Yeah, I honestly don't know what's radio's indicator right now for its programming, it really is not following callout trends this year, unless exceptions, but that could be coincidence. To me it's still a mystery how a song like "ily" can be smashing so hard despite its mediocre performance on all other metrics. And I know it could very well be payola, but it's not an isolated case.

Hahahahahah

What are the excuses now?

Wbk that the only people who listen to Dynamite are the band's stans. The poor callouts were predictable.

Not to mention how the Samsung ads are everywhere. No wonder people are sick of hearing the song.

Good Dynamite is awful, pull it!

Do you think it could be Shazam? One of my fave stations does that. Shazam can specify its charts to a specific city/region so I think stations should be using it as an indicator.

We need Ava Max to debut!

Yep - this year of all years points to less of a correlation between callouts + airplay positions. Also felt like it was the same ten or so songs in power rotation for 3/4 of the year...like historically slow movement across every format it seems.

I'd think it's combination between callouts and Shazam, but yeah, Shazam is definetely playing a role. But my theory fails when we're talking about "Come & Go" which was slaying on both callouts and Shazam, yet struggling to reach Top 10. :rip: I know programmers' taste is something, but c'mon.

Come and Go is being treated unfairly! :fish2: But I can see it being a sleeper hit on radio
