They don't. His albums and songs bombed before his death worldwide, people are just discovering about him now. His death is obviously giving him a push like :skull: Same thing happens when any artist dies.

Um, what?! :rip: He was famous, and successful, before he died. Maybe you are just discovering him now, everybody else knew about him before.

He got murdered just a day ago :rip:

Of course a lot of people will stream his music out of curiosity, even I did.

But I can't  @ some of you acting like he's an icon/legend and sh*t :rip:

This happened when Jeck Buckley, Aaliyah (although she already had one global hit before her death but still) and many other artist that died in a young age.

Is not that difficult to understand.

Not sure who Jeck Buckley is, but if it's anything like Aaliyah, then you're lowkey agreeing that he will have a cult following and elements of his craft will be in new wave of artists

I feel like HDD are underestimating his album. He will be higher than #10 with these streams

I wasn't a fan of him (I like the SAD! song though) but this shows that the whole "He's/she's Cancelled"!!! thing for being problematic is irrelevant. The GP could care less. Just look at how good Kanye is still doing.

Not siding with ATRL's ridiculous gays cause I'm a big fan of X, but streaming keeps getting bigger and no big streaming artist died recently I believe.

still insane numbers though

I don't use ghetto trash. People are just streaming out of curiousity of what music made the guy that was killed.

He lost tho. :rip:
