Like, I knew she was huge. But in the 20-10 area-on-the-list kind of way. Janet Jackson has more weeks at #1 than both Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston as well as the most weeks in the top 10 overall. The artist whom spends more time at the top usually gathers the most points.

Would've been 24 if the Pleasure Principle didn't peak just outside the top 10. She also holds the record for most top 5 hits from an album (7) with RN1814. She was the most consistent artist in the hot100 among her peers and she could've had way much more if she released two more albums in the 90s. Well, thats impressive but consecutivety has nothing to do with this list per se. Neither does record for most top fives from an album. Yes, seems like that would be the case. Girl slaying. Where will Rih end up though, thats the T.

Before 1998 singles which weren't released as physical single were not allowed to chart. This affected everyone who was a hit maker in the 1990s and before. And are you even aware that before 2006 albums tracks were not allowed to chart on the H100 either? Rihanna's career falls in the timeframe of when Billboard made it the easiest to score hits. + streaming has increased the weeks a single spends on the H100. Usually, 20 weeks was considered a blockbuster back in the day bc labels tended to cancel physical singles after a couple of weeks in order to push albums sales... so a song declined on the H100. All of this ... makes such lists questionable. R you even aware that Elvis' career started before the H100 were created in 1958 and that a couple of his hits aren't even included? Before there was the H100... the USA had the jukebox chart. It is no inexplicable mystery of why many Beatles songs peaked fast and then declined. EVERYONE will be in the top 10 at one point while the real legends will be pushed down because they do not have their 22 tracks albums chart completely on the h100 because when they were hot, the rules were much more restrictive and people had a different understanding of the music industry as a whole.
