A few years ago that was a rare feat. Wasn't these past two years the first times songs have come closer to breaking lea rimes record for most weeks in top 10? I agree but streaming is dominant. Usually a system is works for a period of time. It will change in a year or two i'm sure but what can you do... 18 minutes ago, AALIYAH DANA said: i wouldn't have a problem if it was properly adjusted. It's also not far that these new rules and streaming are allowing new acts to break records set by legends that have stood for decades. For instance, Nicki minaj is about to break Aretha Franklin record entry for the most entries on the hot 100. It's not really that fair to Aretha because back in her day a song needed to be released as a physical single to chart. Now a days, any song (regardless) if it's a single or not can chart on the hot 100 as long as it has enough streams. It's just not fair imo and diminishes the legends records. Well, Glee and Lil wayne are top 2 right. Aretha's charting was reflective for the moment. Entries to the hot 100 are not as significant as top 10s, #1s, sales etc. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's not fair. It's not that deep.

Subscription services are the future of the entertainment industry, it definitely is way better value and much more logical for consumers.

Frawls Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Closer just won't die. the top 10 is quite tragic, at least Abel and Rih are coming to save it
QueenofCopyPaste Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Migos 43 million Streams...album release on FRIDAY 50+ million on that week?! what a streaming monster

The weight of streaming on hot 100 and billboard 200 will change at some point.

Ratviolo Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Bad and Boujee #1 and Paris #7? Trash is winning, I see. Love On The Brain and I Feel It Coming tho. Rockabye is coming too.
Kings. Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 1. Bad And Boujee (+1) *2nd week at #1* 15. Bounce Back (+1) *New peak* 17. Love On The Brain (+2) *New peak* 19. I Feel It Coming (+3) *New peak*
QueenofCopyPaste Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Still doubt Paris will be a #1 hit. Video streams (lyric video) need to pick up
Hunter_13 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Not too worried with IDWLF going #1 or not, but I'd be alright with it being a one week number cause of the video.
