Just beyond the Hot 100's top tier, three songs climb to new heights: Big Sean's "Bounce Back" (16-15); Rihanna's "Love on the Brain" (19-17); and The Weeknd's "I Feel It Coming" (22-19), like "Starboy" also featuring Daft Punk.

Talent won again :clap3:

I'm trying to be very very very optimistic about STYB

I still have faith in it; but I'm very nervous.

Let's hope so. #1 on POP radio can't miss top 10! She really deserves it. :)

If Zaylor can establish a good strategy, they've got the #1 on lock.

Not with Shape Of You competing. They need to act fast before it gets too big.

streaming has way to much impact on the hot 100. the top 10 is so stagnant and now most songs usually stay on the chart 30+ weeks. A few years ago that was a rare feat. Wasn't these past two years the first times songs have come closer to breaking lea rimes record for most weeks in top 10?

The charts are always changing. Some years there were new number one songs almost weekly and songs dropping off the charts quickly. Other years there were little number ones and long stays on the charts. The way I'm which people consume music has never been the same. You can see how the charts have change over the years many many times if you do some research. Sstreaming is just another new era and becoming the norm of how people listen and choose which songs are popular. I think it's weighed fairly tbh. It should be adjusted from time to time though seeing as it's presence is becoming larger every week. I'm sure it will be rewieghed in the next few months.

They'll both go to #1 the week of their video release. Shape of You will only block them if they both release the videos the same week.

Alessia :jonny: I'm happy for her.

Paris :clap3: and Closer being still so huge, they're unstoppable.

Rih and Abel getting new peaks :alexz:

I'm honestly not convinced, it's definitely possible, but we'll see. Ed's gains on radio are insane and soon it could be too big... even without an official vid.

Do you know how many weeks Let Me Love You was top 10? (would've asked last week but atrl was down)

i wouldn't have a problem if it was properly adjusted. It's also not far that these new rules and streaming are allowing new acts to break records set by legends that have stood for decades. For instance, Nicki minaj is about to break Aretha Franklin record  entry for the most entries on the hot 100. It's not really that fair to Aretha because back in her day a song needed to be released as a physical single to chart. Now a days, any song (regardless) if it's a single or not can chart on the hot 100 as long as it has enough streams. It's just not fair imo and diminishes  the legends records.

The thing with Nicki is she was on so many featured tracks. Featured tracks weren't really a thing on the charts back in Aretha's time. Also Nicki got most of her hits and charting songs during to the digital era explosion. Her chart success is not due to streaming which more recently took off. Billboard has changed many rules over the years to allow more types of songs to chart and really show their popularity. I believe this is more far. It truely showcases what is popular in the US, instead of only allowing certain types of musical styles be seen in the spotlight. The legends made records which is what have them their status. They won't be forgotten for passing the record over. Records are made to be broken. New legends come in the scene, but their success doesn't override an old legends success because they broke one record.
