poki Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) Britney talks about Extreme Caricature at The Ellen DeGeneres Show! Britney Spears gave her very first interview today regarding her new album. She was a guest at The Ellen DeGeneres show, a show which she has been featured on several times already in the past, to talk about her brand new album, lead single, and the dramatic shift to a new label. Added spoiler tags because the interview is pretty long Ellen: Britney it's so great to see you again! I remember the last time we met was about a year ago talking about your 9th album, that's quite a short time period between albums.Britney: Yes this year has been incredibly busy for me, the Vegas show, the new album, taking care of my kids.E: Of course, it isn't easy raising children.B: DefinitelyE: So tell us, what has been going on lately, you know Twitter has been going insane following your tweet, there was so much going on in so little sentences, what is happening?B: *laughs* yes it's been a pretty wild tweet, I guess I kinda went overboard with it.E: Oh so part of those things were not actually planned out yet?B: No, I mean we had a rough idea of what we wanted but some of those things were undecided yet.E: I see. So when you say 'we' you mean you and your new label right?B: Yes me and Candy Cash Wumpa Latte *laughs*E: *laughs* that's a strange name you gotta be honestB: Yes it's not exactly what you would expect a label to be called, but I really like what's going on there, there's really sweet people there.E: Sweeter than your last label?B: Well, I'd say they give me a little more freedom than what I had with my last few efforts.E: I see.B: Glory had a lot of personal input to it, I liked what was going on with the album, but a lot of tension was in the air.E: Really?B: Oh yes, a lot of people were angry and frustrated cause there was a lot of songs that we had back in 2015, but it wasn't that good, I didn't like it.E: That was the time period that Pretty Girls was released right?B: Yes that was the song I enjoyed the most from what we had recorded. E: I see. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but you switched labels because the production process of Glory wasn't something you wanted to deal with.B: Exactly, I like my new label because they really give me the chance again, to like, really make it my album and the music I like and want it to have. Not just whatever the writers and the producers came up with, I really had to battle with those people to make them come up with better things. E: And the new label really allows you to have creative freedom?B: Yes, I wrote each of the new songs on the album, well, co wrote part of them so that feels very accomplishing in my opinion.E: And you also had several songs from your previous albums that are included in this release, what brought you to this decision?B: Well, it's my 10th album, something that really is special it's basically a special number that, um, I'm not sure how to describe it I just feel like it would be a nice throwback at some of my favorite songs from my last couple of albums.E: That seems logical, I'm sure the fans are gonna enjoy thatB: Oh they definitely will, the music sounds great, and it's songs that are fan favorites but never got to be released.E: Yes I remember so many speculation posts on the internet claiming that Breath On Me was meant to be a single onceB: Yeah we had that in mind, but because of my knee injury the whole era got cut short, it was supposed to have like, 6 singles but we only got 3 out.E: Oh wowB: Yes and the tour had to end shortly, it was a big mess basically. E: And what can you tell us about your new single?B: It's very bouncy, and dance-y, but in a different way not like Glory. I really like Tobu, the song sounds very fresh and happy, the lyrics have more of a serious side to it, of how the media always wants you to be perfect, basically a barbie dollE: Oh tell me about itB: Yes and it's not just girls but it's also boys who have this standard to them that they all like, need to be strong and have a six pack and all that stuff. I mean, I'm a mother of two boys, I don't want them to get brainwashed like this, I want them to be comfortable the way they are. E: That's a beautiful thing, you sound like a wonderful mother B: Thank you so much.E: You know, I noticed how youthful you look on the album cover of your new album, you look so confident on it.B: Yes it's a picture that I really liked, I liked the photo shoot for the album in general, they really did a good job over all with the album, I'm very happy with the way everything is going.E: When is it supposed to be released?B: TomorrowE: To-tomorrow? Wow!*crowd cheering*E: And speaking of albums, everyone in the audience will receive a copy of Britney's brand new album!*Crowd cheering and crying out of joy and happiness* Britney's new album is set to be released this Friday, March 3rd, 2017. poki Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) Reviews are in for Britney's lead single "Extreme Caricature", Lyrics Video Released Several reviews of the lead single sharing the same title as the album, have just came in. Critics overall are praising the song for it's catchy chorus, and a quality instrumental. The New York Post called the song "Bouncy and ready for the dance floor, it has a cool beat to it, somewhat of a throwback to the type of songs Femme Fatale had." Rolling Stones gave the song 3 stars out of 5, stating "It following a formula well, that's really the best there is to say about this song. It's a pop tune that does it's job, makes you feel energized." Los Angeles Times praised the song, "It's got a catchy chorus, lyrics that are simple enough to remember, and a sick, sick beat." Digital Spy wrote "Britney keeps delivering catchy pop tunes, and this song is no exception." Boston Herald states "The song is good enough to keep fans dancing around, and the radio will enjoy some new tunes to play, easily an A for this song." In order to promote the single, a lyrics video has been revealed. At the beginning it features a simple white background, the words appearing onscreen using the Poiret One font, the font used for promotional material for the album. As the song progresses, a hand appears, drawing the caricature shown on the single cover, Tawna Bandicoot. The whole sketch appears to be in fast forward. The hand is constantly seen erasing and redrawing parts of her body including but not limited to her breasts, the length of her legs, and constantly being redrawn to appear skinnier yet still featuring an over exaggerated chest and butt. Towards the end of the song, colored pencils are used to colorize the image. The video ends with the camera focusing on the literal extreme caricature of a sexualized female bandicoot for several seconds after the song is finished. Extreme Caricature, the new lead single is available for purchase on Itunes. Edited March 2, 2017 by PoKiTaurus

Just this passed Thursday Selena surprised her fans with release of the lead single off of her upcoming, currently untitled, third solo studio album. Alldeezy Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 DENIS TALKS NEW ALBUM So this one is a bit different to my other project, I thought to make one last solo project before I get together with the band. This album is full of covers and songs I wrote. my favourite off this EP is probably #OIMATEWTF which is gonna be released on itunes next month when the EP hits pre order. You'll be able to buy this, Starboy and The Zone. This is the first new music we’ve heard from you since Move it & went quiet, What were you doing during that time? Since me leaving Asking Alexandria and then releasing the song Move It. I had a lot of stuff going on, I don't really think i'm ready to discuss it, but during that time period I was working on writing and spending time with the family & friends. Been flying between Australia, Melbourne to see my girlfriend then back to Kier Ukrainian , I did tour a lot in 2016 with Asking, I think it’s important for artists to have a balance and a break between music and entertainment. It’s important to have some different things going on. I spent some time finding different creative outlets and ways to express myself. We know you for your metal, but in reality, what kind of music are you listening to these days? I listen to a bit of everything. Right now I’ve been playing a lot of The Weekand, John Mayer, Bring Me The Horizon, Drake, Ariana Grande *laughs*, but yeah I listen to any genre theses days. You can find some covers of Weekand on my cover side of the album. So you said girlfriend living in Australia and you in Ukraine is that hard to jungle with that and you're music career.? Not really. She actually really supportive. I mean when I was back in Make Me Famous i had a gf back home but we could never make it work. I was bit scared when me and Marns started dating since she was back in Melbourne, but she has to be one of the most supportive chick's i've ever known, she comes down to Kier a fair bit and has been there most parts of recording the album, I miss her heaps when shes not around but once we are it's seriously the best feeling. But yeah I've been Australia a bit writing music, It's sweet since it's mainly the only time I get time for myself with her and it's really great. So when are we excepting the video Starboy (Cover).? oh very soon, like next week actually, it's not going to be anything fancy but Starboy is such a poplar song and one of my favourites at the moment I'm excited to release the video.

Pretty Lady Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) Camila Cabello covers Billboard Magazine. Talks Fifth Harmony, announces her new album title, and what it's like working with Max Martin. Quote Q: So 'Changes' is great, what was your inspiration for it? A: Well it's obvious my life changed, I mean left Fifth Harmony a couple months back, signed to TropicPop, and I just felt I had to write about all these changes. Q: Speaking of Fifth Harmony, have you spoken to any of the members since you left? A: No, sadly, I feel like they don't understand why I left, or just don't care to. Q: That is sad. I figured you five would be really close from spending so much time together?! A: Yeah, you would think. But honestly being so close together can have it's downs aswell. I remember back on the 7/27 tour, it was so cramped and tight, you really had no space for just yourself. Q: So your album? What can we expect? A: Great music! *laughs* No, seriously, I hope to release it very soon. I've been in the studio everyday with Max Martin, and we're so close to finishing it. Q: Max Martin is great. He knows Pop music. What has it been like working with someone with that much experience? A: It's been fun, I mean it's Max Martin, so of course I want to try my hardest on each track. I've been obsessively writing, and rewriting hooks, just because we both want these songs to be as catchy as possible. Q: We can get any new info on the track titles or maybe the album title? A: Well I guess I can share the title. It's called Solitary. For obvious reasons. *laughs* Q: Great title, so one more question before you go? What song do wish you could have kept for your solo album, you previously released as Fifth Harmony? A: Big Bad Wolf. *laughs* I just love the melody. I told you catchy pop is my obsession.
