You may have been a late joiner in Episode 2, but that certainly didn't stop you from being the first to notch multiple #1 hits and deliver other cult classics that will be remembered amongst your best in Season 7, the season which you, um, won? I'll never forget "Dream in a Dream", "Day One" and "Sentimental", which were some of my favourite songs all season.

Making a finale is an achievement in itself, but taking home the Bronze Medallion of all this season's 42 hopefuls is nothing short of an amazing feat. This artist has been involved in Platinum Hit for some time now and I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon. From your humble beginnings in Platinum Hit 8 where you were cut by Round 5 to debuting at #1 in Diamond Hit to making your first finale and making a STRONG effort for the crown in Season 12. I'm not sure I can recall someone who has achieved so much and continually bested themselves practically every season but you've certainly managed to do just that. Even more impressive, you did so while sticking to your own goal of writing a cohesive, video-game inspired soundtrack this season and managed to add another #1 to your PH resume.

With 2 #1s each in this finale, @UFO and @Gastrodonatella really gave the gays record executives everything they could want this finale. But who did better? It's almost unfair to compare them, but there can only be one winner. Congratulations to… The winner of Platinum Hit 12: Stardom… Flying high on a cloud of gas… Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it a Tori Kelly or Christina Aguilera stan?… Did their paper lanterns fly like candles in the sky or fall into oblivion… The winner is… @Gastrodonatella TOTAL ALBUM SALES: 38,185,000 PHU YOU ARE OFFICIALLY THE TWELFTH WINNER OF PLATINUM HIT! (thirteenth including PH10.5) What a fitting result, a hot mess of an ATRLer for a hot mess of a season. Every PH "rule" you set out to break with a badass energy, but when it came time to deliver, you also showed you've still got that amazing, meter-perfect, imagery-overload style we first associated you with and truly adored. It's astonishing to me that this was your first finale after 9 seasons competing since you're without a doubt one of the most well known, well loved and talented Platinum Hitters we've ever had the pleasure to know. Your personality is infections and your songs always serve next-level and over-the-top with a hint of insanity that is just so intrinsically YOU. It was a tug-of-war between first place this season and although you ended up on the wrong side of the win, you've achieved more this season that I'm sure even you could have hoped for, winning half of the finale challenges and snatching two iconic #1 songs. "Gaia" was your "Wide Awake" or "Bad Romance", a truly robbed #1 that would have done so in any other episode, as was "Rings of Saturn" which had the unfortunate competitor of "Eden", the Song of the Season. "Becoming Human" also received THREE TENS, more than any other song in the finale, and was definitely up there for being one of the best songs I've had the pleasure to read for Platinum Hit.
