Yeah. MercyMe released the song in 2001, but it didn't crack the Hot 100 for two more years. And Christian songs used to cross over more frequently in the 90s and early 00s than any time recently. Is I Can Only Imagine featured in a movie, TV show, or commercial right now?

That song was a one hit wonder by every stretch of the imagination. So they way outperformed everyone's expectations with a big album that produced several huge hits.

There's an entire movie based on the song and the band out right now

Mr. Adele Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Why did they wait so much to release the Drake remix of Lemon?
Green Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 9. MercyMe - I Can Only Imagine This song is so beautiful.

The main version is #8, and an alternate version is at #69. I wonder if BB will let it reenter below #50. I wish Spotify would've updated. There's no clear precedent for Christian songs on Spotify. NF reclassified himself as a Christian who raps instead of a Christian rapper. Skillet has had several songs with impressive video streaming, but I don't think they've done as well on ODS.

It's not even a memorable verse so I doubt it'll make much of a difference. Sounds like he was doing Pharrell a favour, what with the Ovosound Radio Premiere as well. Pharrell seems to have had higher hopes for that song's success because idgi. He should have used that platform to drop a second single. Who puts out a remix months after release?
Recordyear Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 1 Ben Platt & Lin-Manuel Miranda - Found / Tonight 1.0000 2 Lil Dicky - Freaky Friday (feat. Chris Brown) 0.2704
thedastardly Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 (edited) lol where did that song come from. I didn't look at the #1 at first and was confused how a song went from 0.8 to 0.2 Edited March 19, 2018 by thedastardly
Blue Rose Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 All Lin's charity songs fly to #1. His power Ben's lead single for his debut will drop soon and he will skyrocket to #1 I'm sure. The next main Pop boy
RajibDavid Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Can someone tell me what are next Fridays single releases?
omrimayo Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Now it's 80% lead. Drake new features are rising like crazy! Lemon remix already 22 and the video effect of Migos that he's in it is already 44 and rising fast. In his case we all know that the streams will be huge also. And he has of course GP AND LA on the top 10 BB as of now. And that's before a new album... Another year of the king.
